I got a couple Star Wars books (Betrayal & Sacrifice), some DVDs (Tin Man, Andromeda Strain 2008 mini-series), a book called Weird California (sort of a Ripley's Believe it or Not! for the state of California) & a few other books & Indiana Jones Lego for Nintendo DS. Went to Knott's for their Chicken Dinner (I love that fried chicken!!!  )

It's really good. I'm always willing to go down & wait in a really long line (which there almost always is, sometimes we wait for hours!!) just to get a few pieces of fried chicken,& a slice of boysenberry pie.

I've been visiting with family from out of town and I'm sorry we missed your Bday. Although I did remember at the event we were having that it was your bday and the girls and I raised our cup cakes and toasted a happy bday to you, but since you weren't there you didn't know that and it has taken me two days to tell you so you might have thought we forgot, but we didn't so......

Happy Belated Birthday JT! I grew up in OC, and Knott's used to be a birthday tradition for everyone in my family. I'm old enough to remember when there was no admission there and you could pay $2.00 to see a concert in the John Wayne theater , so we'd go eat a chicken dinner and watch a big name act in concert on a regular basis...that seems like a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away! lol
