Droid Research and Construction

Since this is supposed to be our first deal to do this year, along with Costuming Riqui up, let's go.
When I get home, I plan on starting up my blog again and putting up the research I've done for building a droid thus far. What can everyone find?
Put it up here and we'll figure out how we can build this thing!

I saw a full parts list somewhere that totaled about $2000 for a full Droid. That's build real and actual. I don't think we have that much, but I would love to hear some ideas on what we can do.
