Woo Hoo! We all have been invited back to costume up for the Jacksonville Zoo again this year to participate in the Diabetes Walk! This year will be slightly different than last years event though.
It will be on Sat., Nov. 3rd from 8am-1pm.
The address for the Jax Zoo for any that want to Mapquest is:

This year they are wanting as many people as possible to do breakfast with the kids and walkers. They will need us there and dressed at 8am (no worries for those who can not come that early though, I know the Tally people that came last year had a really LONG drive.)
Also different for this year is that they will be having an added event after the walk for all of the kids and families with type I diabetes. They have asked that we participate in this as well.
The breakfast is from 8-9am.
The walk is from 9-11am approx.
The added event for the kids starts at 11am and will last for and hour to an hour and a half.
There will be refreshments available to us. The same meeting room for changing that was available last year will be available again this year. They know us by the First Coast Jedi Knights (or "those SW guys" :P) and that's all you have to tell them to get in (I'm sure the buckets will be a dead giveaway). Come out for any or all of it. If anyone does not have my cell phone number PM me in case you need it should any problems arise the day of the troop...

Also, I MAY NOT be able to make it to the event, but whether I can or not, if I am in town, anyone coming in from out of town is more than welcome to stay at my place should you decide to come the evening prior to make it to the breakfast. 
Just PM me if you want to go that route and I'll stay in contact with you.

Last year was fun. Thanks for setting this up Chase. Gary and I will be there bright and early for breakfast..ummm...yummy. I will be in my Ep 3 clone and Gary will be a sandtrooper.
