Yeah, those should be the tentacles coming from his left arm, which was partially cut off.

It's nice to see Durge get some really good licks in on Anakin.

apparently a lightsaber doesn't cauterize a durge-wound... or he can grow through the burnt parts, unlike the hydra of greek mythology.

Some tidbits from the Mandalorian article thread:
>>"But you might hear some more about Durge in the coming months."
...
""Actually, Durge isn't mentioned at all in the entire article. Strange."
Or is he? Hmm…"<<

From the Obsession #3 preview:
But Durge has not reckoned with Skywalker's innate power, or the young man's growing ties to the dark side.
Without Obi-Wan's moderating influence, Anakin goes off on Durge!
Hmmm...Sith Lightning maybe? We've seen previously that Durge doesn't react too well to electricity (in his first appearance), so perhaps Anakin gives him a few blasts of this?
That being said, I'm still not aure if/how Anakin is actually going to kill him. Which I think is going to happen.
As for his military role as compared to Grievous, I'd say Durge & Ventress are the muscle. The General is the brains.

How would Anakin know how to use Force Lightning? He'd have to get really mad to suddenly lash out lie that.

And based on his d6 and d20 stats, he never learned the power. Either as Anakin or Vader.

But he does use it in the ROTS video game. I think Vader was limited by his suit.

Thankyou.
As for learning it on the fly, hell, Luke learned TK on the fly in TESB in the Wampa's cave. I don't see how his dad-with 13 years of Jedi training under his belt by this point-couldn't do the same with Sith Lightning.

I can't remember. Been a long time since that book. But either way, he did learn it on his own.

Farewell, Durge. You will be missed!
Anyone got any pics of his last moments? For us who are waiting patiently for the TPB?
