It was kind of funny when Anakin turned the tables on him and fling all the explosives back at him.

He's baaaaaack!!!

...from a certain point of view. wink

Durge is featured in Clone Wars Adventures 3. From Rebelscum:

Haden Blackman and Sigmund Torre help create "Rogues Gallery," which features Asajj Ventress and Durge as they pit themselves against General Grievous!

With the RC story and now this, CWA just keeps getting better and better. grin

The funny part is that the entire story is about General Grevious kicking their collected asses. I have to ask honestly why the Dark Horse comic guys keep feeling the need to have Grevious own both of them ;-)

Personally, I will miss Durge. Durge was always at his best when he was a Pro-Wrestler fighting the heroes of the universe.

No he won't. Durge was the SW version of a haemorrhoid, a pain in the arse that has to be got rid of!

Sorry but that is how I see the character.

Duh,

He's LOBO

Come on...

Immortal Jelly Bounty Hunter that's a psychotic member of an otherwise peaceful species. He talks trash and rides a gigantic SPACE BIKE.

The only ting we needed to make it any more obvious that he's Lobo is the fact that he actually was here because of some Space Dolphins.

To be fair, we think Durge is dead...but how many times has that happened before?

I could see Durge pulling a "Boba Fett"--

*Jump to post-Episode III timeline*

Anakin/Darth Vader: Durge?!? But, you're dead...

Durge: The star found me somewhat undisintegratible... laugh

Durge pulling a Boba Fett? that would be nice, but I then hope he doesn´t get killed by Vader but by beloved BOBA FETT himself, when making himself a name as Hunter, which didn´t work in the Junior reader novels.

Just for the record (in other words, "up", because I love this thread so, and my catalogue of big-D's injuries is bound to get an update when I get my mitts on CWA#3 and When they were Brothers), Durge was in fact the "prominent Separatist commander" mentioned in Abel's Mango article, the one whose death spurred the Mandalorian Blitzkrieg. Good man Durge.

Abel made a really good quote earlier about the "Mango article" but I cannot seem to find it. tongue

Well, what can I say. They are. batting Not half as delicious as those WotC sourcebooks, though.

Just wondering if the continuity spackle had been applied to these statements from Boba Fett #4:

"Durge! His father had warned Boba about him. A two-thousand-year-old bounty hunter, Durge hated the Mandalorians more then anything else in the galaxy. A hundred years before Boba was born, Durge had attempted to capture the Mandalorians' leader. Instead, he himself was captured and tortured. But Durge escaped. He went into hibernation to recover from his wounds. When he emerged fully healed, he vowed revenge upon all Mandalorians. Yet it was too late for revenge. By then, there were few Mandalorians left in the galaxy. They had been exterminated in the course of countless battles, some with the Jedi. Still, part of Jango Fett remained alive in the clone army generated from his DNA. Durge had vowed to eliminate all of Jango's clones... and do Count Dooku's bidding."

"'Now I remember,' said Boba, pretending this was all new to him. He felt a chill, despite the hold's hot, musty air. 'He wanted to be the source of the clone army." Gab'borah looked at Boba with respect. 'That is the rumor,' he said. 'How is it you come to know this?' Boba hesitated. Then he said, 'Jango Fett told me.' Gab'borah's eyes grew keen. 'Then you know that Durge rejoiced when Jango Fett was killed. His only regret was that he was not the one to deal Jango Fett his death blow."

Which appear to contradict this statement from the TOS databank:

"His peculiar alien physiology came about to answer the questions raised by his prowess. Specifically, how could he pose a threat to the Jedi if they could simply cut him down with their lightsabers? And secondly, if he is indeed so powerful, why didn't he become the template for the clone army? His scattered nervous system and regenerative abilities answered the first question. His extended hibernation trance answered the second.

He had awakened to a galaxy at war, a galaxy where the Jedi Knights led clone soldiers in battle against the automated troops of the Confederacy."

If Durge didn't awaken until after Jango was dead, then why did Jango warn Boba about him? Was Durge just a Mandalorian "boogeyman" perhaps?

More or less, yeah. Maybe Fett suspected that Durge wasn't all that dead.
