Wait, aren't the Vong a war-driven society that places great value on honor and holds dying honorably and in battle to be the only way to go?
Hmmm...
EDIT: I like farraday's theory. Add that to the idea that the humans from our galaxy are just migrants from the GFFA, and the TNG episode where they learn almost all intellgent life in the galaxy was seeded from a single species, and I think we're onto something.

Hold it. Before we get all bent out of shape about this, lets stop and think about things. First, the word Anor appears in Tolkien's Lord of the Rings. Minas Anor is the former name of Minas Tirith. Minas means tower. Anor is (setting) sun. So Nom Anor could also be 'something (Setting) Sun'
Har appears in several ancient Eygyptian incarnations of Horus as a part of his name in those incarnations (Har-sa-iset, Har-wer, Har-nedj-itef, Har-pa-khered, Har-mau, and Har-em-akhet). In most of these names, the translation of the name usually has Horus in there somewhere, suggesting to me Har could possibly mean Horus.
Nem appears in ancient Egyptian along with Ankh as Nem Ankh, or Eternal Life. Since I've seen that Ankh means life, Nem must therefore mean eternal. And Yin in one thing I found in Chinese mythology appears to mean Earth. So could Nen Yim mean 'Eternal Earth' rather than 'live years from now'?
Breaking down Riina, I'm able to look up the last three letters. Ina is the name of The Polynesian goddess of light. Sadly, I can not look up Ri as what I'm using requires three letters to search with. Could Riina be 'something goddess of light'?
Basically, what I'm saying is we could use various sources and probably look up either similar words to those of the Vong language or words from the Vong language. Whose to say that maybe all words in the Vong language don't appear in various ancient languages. Or that the designers of the Klingon language didn't use ancient languages to come up Klingon.

That was a little confusing at first. I'd have to say that you can be both, if you wish to be. I like the original Star Trek movies (1-6), but don't care for the shows or newer movies. The only ST book I've read has been the Search for Spock novelization. But other than that one, I've never felt compelled to read any other ST books. Yet other SW fans can well feel differently about it all than I do.

HOL EE CRAP.
That's just amazing. To much to be a coincidence I think. If it is one the NJO is as bad as the Bible Code.

I don't think it's indicative of any impending crossover reveal. To me it seems that the authors took some inspiration for the Vong language from Klingon.

HAHAHA
They were so unoriginal they ripped off the klingon dictionary. priceless. Watch em come in here and say no they didn't. Paramount should sue. It is after a language created solely for ST to beused in the films and shows. It's owned by Paramount.
And the Vong/Klingon words aren't just similar but uhh..nearly identical.

I'd rather die than live in a world of Yuuzhan Vong/Klingon similarities.
