Ahh, but your forgetting, Mynock/Gate was an R5. The particular Mynock from the Rogue Squadron game was an R2,
.
They certainly can't be the same astromech, they aren't even the same model of astromech,
. It takes great leaps of logic to think that an R5 = R2,
.

The particular Mynock from the Rogue Squadron game was an R2,
Rather, Factor 5 designed all the player ships to have R2-D2 in them, since for all but the last mission he's your astromech. Thusly, your squadron mates also all have R2-D2 as well, IIRC. I don't think that you can really determine the model of astromech from the model of the ship, because of this.

I've not seen anything in XWA to indicate that it started before Hoth, so I'm assuming it started about the same time. The lack of any other cross-canon missions (besides Zaarin and the Suprosa) that I can recall places it almost entirely in the post-ESB era.
XWA spans the entire year between Hoth and Endor; the opening cut-scene features the Azzameen family escape from Hoth during the events of ESB and ends with the Battle of Endor.

>> I don't know if he got time to get into a fighter for a portion of the battle, between panels or not?<<
The battle seemed to span quite a bit of time in the comics- it's almost happening for most of the story it seems, so there was definaitely time for Wedge to take a V-Wing in.

Ok, this update reflects SOTE and my suggested placement for the FC missions based on the information posted above (but I haven't played that game, so feel free to suggest any adjustments).
I think the main priority after this should be to start breaking down the XW/TIE levels; should be easy to place most of the XWA levels based on Suprosa and the Razor levels; the others might be trickier.

I can't see how Wedge had time to fly a V-wing and help command the fleet. Remember, Wedge and Lando were on the Emancipator until it was destroyed by a World Devastator. After that, they boarded escape pods and were retrieved by rescue frigates.
So, unless he jumped on board a fighter right after his rescue, I can't see how this works.

Knights of the Old Republic would have taken place during the Tales of the Jedi right or near the end of it? I know its sometime after Exar Kun and Ulic's Sith War. Knights of the Old Republic 2 is suppose to take place sometime later but still pre-Prequel Series.

KOTOR is post- TOTJ by, I think, 50 years or so. I'll definately cinlude it on the TOTJ-EP3 era list when we make our way to that, but since the PT-era game situation is far less crowded and complicated (I think the only overlaps are Starfighter with BFN and JSF with TCW, and even in those cases, it's only for a few levels mainly), I figure it'd be best to concentrate on the "OT" era stuff first.

Makes good sense. The post-Rotj to NJO is far more crowded but I think that's going to change. With the release of Rebel Commando, KotoR 1 and 2. There is a lot of room for pre-OT and even pre-Prequel games. Especially since the prequel movies will be last of GL's movies so the Star Wars Universe past and present should open up more and writers and game developers might be given more freedom. The success of Knights of the Old Republic shows that very good stories can be told during that era.

I'm working on charting out mission by mission a chronology of XWA and TIE, it should be up in the next few days.

2q -- perhaps add a few year markers into the list, esp in the post ROTJ era...
also, perhaps add Star Wars Demolition...
sometime after SOTE and before ROTJ -- since Lando is in the game undercover as Tamtel Skreej.
(and levels in game show us an incomplete DS2, and leftover hoth battlefield)
i think in the ending for Tia and Gia, Boushh leads them to safety in an escape...
