Okay, got the TPM placed in the daily part. Tell you what, there's a hell of a lot happening on that first day

When you think about, didn't the still-unnamed Naboo starfighter debut in N64 Rogue Squadron long before TPM came out?
And some of the action music was used in AOTC, during the Geonosian landing battle.

On the subject of Yoda Stories, there is no way it can be included in the Star Wars chronology, seeing as Luke keeps visiting Yoda and doing missions for him. There is no time when that could have ever happened-Luke was way too busy with the Shadows of the Empire events to have time to talk to Yoda between when he met him and when he died.
Not to say Yoda Stories wasn't a cool game-though I only played the demo.
And can somebody explain how the Naboo starfighter was featured as a secret ship in Rogue squadron? Didn't it come out before TPM? Not only was it an anachronism, but it was also the best ship in the game!
Wierd.

The Naboo starfighter design was apparently finalized by then, time enough to squeeze the craft into the game.

I'm afraidthat you've got the details of the XWing Campaigns confused - Here's a summary of the first three (shamelessly taken from
http://www.xwing.wz.cz/)
"The first Tour of Duty, "A New Ally", consists of twelve missions and describes Imperial campaign against Rebels. The campaign ends when Rebels with hidden explosives destroy an Imperial Star Destroyer.
The second Tour of Duty, "The Great Search", consists of twelve missions too. In this campaign, Rebels reveal the secret of the Imperial force's newest weapon - the Death Star. The campaign ends with protection of princess Leia's corvette Tantive IV which ferries Death Stars plan.
The third and last Tour of Duty, "The Gathering Storm", has fourteen missions and describes Rebel's route to the final battle of Yavin and the Death Star destruction. "
The fourth campaign is Imperial Pursuit which details the rebels flee from Yavin and the fifth is B-Wing which ends wit hthe rebels setting up a new base on Hoth.
Hope that helps

There is no time when that could have ever happened-Luke was way too busy with the Shadows of the Empire events to have time to talk to Yoda between when he met him and when he died."
First I'd point out, and what people seem to forget is that SOTE actually only takes up a small portion of time between ESB, and ROTJ, only a few weeks, amd at the most a couple of months fraction of the time period between ESB and ROTJ. The post ESB, pre-rotj marvel comics take up another fraction of it (as does a few misc. stories in other sources, WEG, etc).
There is room between the marvel stories time periods for Luke to toss in all of the Yoda Stories mini-missions(as Marvel doesn't cover all of that time-period but individual events during that time period), except for the one set in between scenes of ESB(Millenium Falcon's capture and detour to Tatooine before its jump to Bespin), and the one that is just another telling of beginning of ROTJ.
Though the framing story of him talking to Yoda on the other hand has always been a debatable issue, with some thinking he may not have actually gone to Dagobah, and just gotten a telepathic messages from Yoda from afar(as its shown in the Gameboy version of the game), or based on the PC version, some who think he only went to Yoda a few times inbetween events of Marvel issues and received more than one mission from Yoda at a time (to limit the amount of trips), and others that believe that he visited yoda for every single mission(that being the post-esb/pre-ROTJ missions) during the time period which was partially covered by the Marvel issues. The last viewpoint is that framing story didn't actually take place, and that he didn't actually get missions from Yoda in any form, but rather he stumbled into the missions on his own during the period partially covered by the Marvel Issues.
"And can somebody explain how the Naboo starfighter was featured as a secret ship in Rogue squadron? Didn't it come out before TPM? Not only was it an anachronism, but it was also the best ship in the game!"
It was unlockable through a code in the N64 version in which it had been hardcoded into the game by the designers that got a sneak peak of Ep1 material.
The pc version on the other hand had to have a complete software update to add the craft in (though later editions came with the update pre-installed). So the fighter was useable from the very start as part of the rebels ragtag collection of souped-up and modified snub fighters.

alright, even if the story etc. of Yoda Stories may not be canon, what about the planets featured? Some storylines cannot take place e.g. rescuing Han Solo from Jabba.

"alright, even if the story etc. of Yoda Stories may not be canon"
Actually the real system behind it, is that "some of the stories may not be canon", and perhaps not the framing story(or at least one version of the framing story).
LFL's current policy as stated by Leland Chee, for games is that games are canon, that details and storyline bits that can fit are continuity, but details that can't fit are not canon. With the case of movie retelling bits, if a contradiction occurs, the movies take precedence as the event that actually occured.
"what about the planets featured?"
Many of the planets featured have actually been refrenced in later sources, including a few details from the game itself, if one reads closely enough. One of the sources to refrence material from the game off-handely was in Sansweet's Travel Guide book, IIRC.
Where as refrences to the framing story itself have occured in various sources such as the Adventure Journals. Though between the two versions of the game there are two different ways for that framing story to have occured.
1. Telepathic messages from across the galaxy, luke never actually travels to Dagobah to meet up with Yoda again, but only receives messages from him from afar (gameboy version)
2. Additional trips to Dagobah which can only occur between the Marvel stories time period of Post-ESB/pre-ROTJ(PC version), except for one mission set during ESB, and one mission set during ROTJ.
"Some storylines cannot take place e.g. rescuing Han Solo from Jabba."
That is the only mission which take place during ESB, specifically between the time that Han and the Millenium Falcon were limping away from the Asteroid Field on partial hyperdrive, before they make it to Bespin (While Luke was training under yoda). According to WEG it took them a little over a month to reach Bespin. The mission in the game was chronicling a rather strange detour with the abduction of the Han, the Falcon, and presumeably with those others on board and taken to Tatooine. Its possible to fit in, though most wouldn't want it to be.
Its also possible that the framing story for that event could be ignored and that the event was actually set before ESB, which had plenty of time in between classic star wars, marvel, Rogue Squadron 64, Missions, and a few other misc. stories. Its also possible it could have been a telepathic message from Yoda (based on the gameboy version), but since Luke hadn't met Yoda yet, maybe he assumed it was from Obi-Wan, who was still contacting him telepathically on occasion (though if that's the case I'm sure he was scratching his head wondering why Obi-Wan's grammer had suddenly shifted).
The only mission that cannot fit in any way in the way that it was told, is the one that takes place during ROTJ, and acts as an additional retelling of the events of Jabba's Palace. The movie takes precedence. Though its possible that the telepathic message from yoda (gameboy version) may have been made to him, giving him additional assistance with the rescue of Han.
In the case of, if every mission was only a telepathic message from yoda, the only mission where luke actually had to meet up with Yoda was the one dealing with him having to get Yoda back from Boba Fett who had captured him, and then take him back to Dagobah. One might remember that Fett knew about Yoda from Galaxy of Fear, so Yoda Stories actually tells a kind of, post-esb continuation of Boba Fett's knowledge of Yoda.

I know theres been sone debate as to how or wether bonus levels are 'AU' but Timetales has two seperate listings for XvsT, I'm guessing from the 2 included campaigns, each telling the same story but with one the Empire wins, the other the Rebellion.
*wishes he had Yoda Stories*

Since nobody ever did a complete list so I put a couple together. I also added the Leia SWGB campaign. It is mostly in the early stages of the Rebellion or bonus missions. I can't figure out one bonus mission and the Luke and Leia section of it though. Maybe someone knows.
