Final strip is up and it's a little anticlimactic imho.

I saw the one from last night, and I have to say, "Ekria, you planned everything down to the last detail. Worthy of Thrawn, I would say."

Question: shouldn't Drake's right arm be in the sling, since it was his right shoulder that got skewered.

As for tonight - I agree. A rather anticlimatic ending not only to this webstrip, but also to the entire series.

Seems like an okay ending to me. I suspect we'll see these two again some day.

I want to be the first to give a huge "huzzah!" and a "whoopee!" to Paul and Tom, for what has been what now, two-and-a-half years of extremely inventive webstrip creation? I remember reading Reversal of Fortune every day way back at the end of '04 and getting extremely geeked out for ROTS. This series has been a big part of my SW reading over these last years. It's been quite a feat keeping a storyline going this long, and they've done a wonderful job of weaving this particular stitch into the general fabric of the EU, with so many well-crafted references to other segments of the SW universe, and the appearances of so many great characters. Congrats, guys.

QFT. I liked the ending really and want to thank Tom and Paul for their effort and making Hyperspace worth it for me.

Two and a half years? I caught up with the whole thing in about two and half hours. sad Loved it though.

Since I'm new to this whole thing, would anyone happen to know when a new strip will start? Soon I hope.

Sorry to rain on your parade but End Game was the last strip. Although there is a rumored Mandalorian strip writen by Karren Traviss and illustrated by Tom Hodges. I sure hope they make it!

I got hyperspace for daily webstrips. If they do not deliver then I will be upset.

Edit: Perhaps you thought I meant Evasive Action in particular, which I did not. Either way I wouldn't feel too upset since I signed up for international to save money.

I'm not really from Singapore.

Eeeh. Not enough Orman clinging onto the back of the ship. Not enough Drake becoming Vader's apprentice.

wink

Thanks, Tom and Paul. Now...I demand a print version! It deserves a print version a hell of a lot more than most of the stuff we get these days.

Thanks for your support of Evasive Action over the past few years, all! Stopping by here was definitely part of the fun for me.

Now that it's done, some behind-the-scenes blog entries are probably in order, too. happy

I hope many of you will join Tom and I this fall as we start some new mythologies over at Red 5 Comics. Cya there!

I was looking at Day #83 again, the one where a voice in the darkness is asking who's there. I think the clangs and skree indicate Ekria's rapelling down a rope. But who's asking the questions - Orman or Drake?

Orman I'd guess, since he was blinded by Vader. It's not darkness you're seeing in that strip, it's the vision of a man who can't see the light.

News about the "New Hyperspace":
Webstrips: Webstrips are currently on hiatus, hence its absence from the bullet point list. There are at least two original webstrips slated for later this year, but they are likely to be made available for everyone and not just Hyperspace members. The archive is currently available only to Hyperspace members, though later in the year, they may be made free.

Free webstrips? thinking
