All 3 are paperback.
Book #2 was originally titled Chiaroscuro, then it was changed to Sins of the Father before finally being Streets of Shadow. Personally, I like the final title best. Very pulpy.

This is actually my least favorite title of the three put forth for the book . . . in fact, I'd take both Chiaroscuro and Sins of the Father and ditch the Patterns of Force title, personally.

Not nearly as good as the first one. It would probably look much better with different colours.

It's not on Orbik's site yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if you're right.

Yea i really loved Chiarascuro.
Were'nt these books supposed to come out years ago? IIRC the same year Republic Commando came out, and it had a level called Chiarascuro. Wonder if that was one of the reasons it was changed and/or why it was originally named that.

Oh, I like it a lot. It seems to be leaning more towards pulpy sci-fi, while Jedi Twilight was more pulpy detective novels.
Actually, I think I like this cover better than the final Jedi Twilight cover. I would like to see it in full color though.

I really think this trilogy is going to be the fresh change most people have been waiting for in the novels. Atleast I hope so.

I'm liking it. It's unusual, but it's also original and stands out. Reminds me of a Phillip Dick novel or something.

I think they were originally going to stretch the trilogy out and have one book come out a year between 06-08, but they instead postponed the first two books to 2008 so that all three could come out close together.
EDIT- Isn't it a bit strange to have the "NYT Best Selling Author of Jedi Twilight" on the cover to book 2 before JT comes out? I mean, sure, most SW books make the list, but...

They always do that.
Reaves is a "NYT Best-Selling Author" who also happened to write "Jedi Twilight," not a guy who wrote "the NYT Best-Selling novel, Jedi Twilight".
Marketing.
