You're just getting Rogue all fired up now.

Between G0-T0 and For-AteSee, there could probably be quite a bit just on droids with unlikely professions. Except less boring-sounding. Darth MSE? King Arfour? Admiral Threepio?

It was neat to see Firkrann, the "FLTCH-series 'Iron Knight' who succumbed to Grievous' blades within the fungi forests of Xagobah," referenced in your Unknown Soldier article, Abel.

And as far as Luxum "popping up in the future", could that have something to do with your Vader's Legacy article? Dark-side Iron Knight makes for good company for the Dark Lady wink

And also, what relation do the Tsil have to the Iron Knights and the Shards, if any?

I was talking with an old Star Wars rpg writer last night about how "smaller" SW projects, such as this, have sort of become a thing of the past. Neat little ideas like this were common in the days of West End Games, but it's become rare to have anything less than "Grievous!" "Vader!" "Mandalorians!" in recent times.

I think, though, Hyperspace may potentially become a home to less extravagant or quieter subjects.

I guess there are what could be considered "famous" mouse droids out there, like the one that was used in an attempted assasination of Inquisitor Tremayne and a couple others in the RPG.
There's a cool little MSE Rebel spy in Cracken's Rebel Operatives, IIRC.

Glad you liked the IK cameo, Ph0enix. Luxum actually "popped up" in the Grievous supplement Lord of War on StarWars.com. happy

The Smokies... I think the two species are different enough that they don't necessarily have to be directly related. Like the JK bio-droids and the Iron Knights, you might group them under a similar heading, you might mention them in the same breath in one of those "that's a coinky-dink" observations, and representatives of each group might even "interact" at some point, but I don't think they share much of a relationship beyond that.

This is one of those instances where I think retconing a direct relation would be unproductive. But maybe someone else has a stellar idea.

Take care,
Abel

I'm wondering why they havent made a droid that has repulsor and tractor in the arms to imitate force powers.

I was actually thinking more along the lines of, instead of a Shard, could a Tsil become an Iron Knight? After all, the Tsils are all force-sensitive.

Ex: Yep, same as the "Merc droid."

I remember that hulking droid. He cameoed in Outlander, just as Dark Woman warned danger to Mundi, who looked brooding and dagerous himself. tongue

Likely, though to avoid redundant concepts, I wouldn't pursue that line.

>The name and race of the Iron Knights' unorthodox Jedi Master, the Sunesi alien Aqinos, is new information not originally specified in the Star Wars Missions book in which this character first appeared, The Monsters of Dweem (1998, Scholastic). <

Does this mean that Aqinos appears in MOD, even though he is not named? (I don't have the book.)

It seems I have to track down the Gamemaster Screen, Second Edition. There are a whole lot of interesting characters in there...
