Ok, next updated portion: I should have the notable TCW sources listed and in an appropriate order, though I haven't done the kid books yet (are any of them original material, or just episode adaptations?). Obviously episode order is somewhat flexible but I think this is, presently, the best order factoring in both the web comics and production order implications- though going by the web comics and the activation of Skytop Station in Prelude, Ambush must be taking place at the same time as the droid duo.

The placement of the Ryloth webcomics also reflects that they all occur before or during the invasion and before Republic attempts to free the planet.

I've put Crash Course before Bombad Jedi because the dialogue between Ahsoka and Ventress ("remember me?") suggests they've only met once prior to it, requiring it occur before Cloak of Darkness, and, so as not to break up the Nute trilogy, I've placed it before Bombad Jedi.

I'm leaving the regular TCW comic and other books at th end until we have a better idea or hint of where they belong- I suspect they're intended to be Season 1-era material, but we'll have to see how Season 2 goes. Also, depending on how Cargo of Doom goes/reveals any relation to Hostage Crisis, it's entirely possible Hostage Crisis and it's web comic could get bumped up in the timeline.

Jedi Alliance is where it is because it has to at lats be after the Malevolence trilogy since it features the Malevolence's sister ship and if they knew about the Devastation before the malevolence, well, it wouldn't make sense. Plus, i figure it's intended to be set during the early episodes of the season like Lightsaber duels and pretty much all the tie=in TCW material released at the time was.

Almost all of the children's material is mere adaptation. However, The Way of the Jedi is entirely original. The adaptation of "Lair of Grievous" in Grievous Attacks! also contains an original scene.
Jedi Alliance should take place after the end of season 1, as it contains Ziro as a character not in prison (at least, that's what I've been told).

Interesting- I gotta get that game. Though, again, if HC gets pushed to mid season by any relation to COD, it could be moved likewise. I'll move it for now, though.

Short stories not included yet:
"A Tale from the Dark Side"
"Fists of Ion"
"Interference"
"Crossroads"
"Deader than a Triton Moon"
"Idiot's Array"
"Precipice"
"Labor Pains"
"Out Foxed"
"The Last One Standing"

And does being for "new and moderate readers" preclude adding the Star Comics Droids and Ewoks stories? Or Droids and Ewoks books?

"The Last One Standing," IIRC, is broken up into sections that take place in 13 BBY, 12 BBY, 3 ABY, 4 ABY, and 19 ABY.

Dav- much appreciated, thanks for the help hugs

Plar- I'll generally group anthology material like The Last One Standing together by volume in either the anthology section or the general timeline placement of the collected works.

I may include them eventually, especially if they get an omnibus treatment or some such.

Sorry, I forgot that there are two short stories with the title "The Last One Standing." I was referring to the short story in the omnibus of Legacy of the Jedi and Secrets of the Jedi.

I'm not too knowledgeable of comics in general, but shouldn't the Stark Hyperspace War be before The Phantom Menace?

It's frame story is set immediately after Darkness, with the events of the actual war set prior to TPM via flashbacks.

EDIT- All the major Video Games should be up to date now, and I've filed the Battlefront games (minus Renegade Squadron) under the anthologies section since they just span too much time.

I've also corrected the Jedi Alliance placement and the Miller/Traviss CW5 attribute.

Short Stories next.

Quick question about the Clone Wars stuff - should this all be much later as Grievous is around ie around 20BBY rather than 22BBY - after all Grievous wasn't really common knowledge until the Clone Wars Volume 2 Cartoon Network series which you already have 20BBY - or has there been some retcon to allow the new Clone Wars series to breath more? I appreciate there is still work to do on the Clone Wars timeline but thought I'd add my 2 cents worth.

It would certainly have been easier on us all if they had set all the TCW stuff later in the war. For now, they've been dating everything as year one of the war, 22 BBY. Until a finalized CW timeline revision exists, I don't want to redate or reorder existing CW material to vageuly compensate for TCW's alterations.
