I had to sign up on these forums just to say thank you SO much for this timeline. Easy to use, neat and comprehensive. This is the only one I've found on the net that doesn't boggle your mind when you try to read through it. The colour coding helps in a big way. Please keep this going! I'm not quite sure why it hasn't been stickied. wink

We don't sticky this thread because it's not a thread that will get a lot of active discussion, nor is it a primary resource for operating the forum like the Index or Code of Conduct threads. But it is useful, so we include it among the secondary resource links in the header like with the Wookiepedia link.

Maybe by year's end- or, hopefully, after starwars.com posts an official TCW episode order.

Thanks for that - would you put Deathtroopers after Force Unleashed but before Rebel Dawn?

I haven't had a chance to read DTS or look into the timeline placement but between them would be my guess.

I had Death Troopers as being within Rebel Dawn (probably shortly after the events of Han Solo and the Lost Legacy). For one, Sue Rostoni said on TFN that it took place about a year before Yavin, and Han referenced his ship being impounded and needing to free it (while not explicitly saying it was the Falcon, he did express a fondness for it not normally seen with his other ships).

Also, there were X-Wings in the Star Destroyer's hangar (probably captured from Rebels, but possibly some original prototypes). They weren't really around until about 1 BBY, when the Rebels stole the final prototypes from Fresia.

So yea, I have Death Troopers as being within Rebel Dawn, shortly after The Lost Legacy, before The Hollow Moon of Khorya I think.

At what point did Han acquire a price on his head? I barely remember Rebel Dawn and haven't read the Daley stuff but he mentions a price on his head in Death Troopers.

That's a grey area I think. Because Jabba put the price on his head at the very very end of Rebel Dawn (when he jettisoned his load of spice when being boarded). However, the Besadii already had a price on his head before that, when he hijacked the spice freighter to escape Ylesia with Bria and his Togorian friend. The hijacking was the end of The Paradise Snare, but Fett was after him in the beginning of The Hutt Gambit, several years later.

I've heard others suggest recently that the reason Han Solo jettisoned the spice load to begin with was because he was once arrested by the Empire and put on the Purge and had the incident with the zombies. If you knew how bad an Imperial prison was, I'm thinking you, too, would do everything in your power to avoid it again (including jettisoning your valuable spice).

So it sounds like the "bookshelf placement" would be between the HSAs and Death Star.
