Trick is there aren't enoguh colors to single like that- as yellow and orange and white are too light to read easily withotu a highlight, and if you add a highlight then they stand out more than non-highlighted ones which means they should be used for more pivitol entries.
Perhaps, with the comics, what i'll do is keep the title highlighted orange/blue, but have the author/artist listings for them in non-highlighted blue. That should solve the issue I think. (ie:
Imperial Adventures Volume 12
by Felorama & Stelerific
)
The orange-on-dark-red is easy on the eyes, though, IMO.

I agree that some of the color scheme is a bit difficult on the eyes. Might I suggest that you use dark colors for the non-highlighted, and highlight only in black, dark blue or dark green, and use various light colors within the dark highlight (white, yellow, light blue, light green, etc.).

That's basicly what I went for for the msot part, while attempting to maintain some similarity to WK's color coding in the Upcoming Release Dates thread.

The blude highlighted text is the hardes on the eyes. Might I suggest switchting to yellow text with black highlight?

RE: Star Wars Expanded Universe Timeline
I haven't read JA yet, but as I udnerstand it, there are two time periods in the SE books- an Obi/Anakin section and an Obi/Qui-Gons ection- so you have the placement of the Obi/Anakin sections on the timeline (much liek with LOTJ and SOTJ, the most recent timeline event is where the lsiting goes by).
I work the other way (ie have the earliest event or the framing even in the book place where it is on the timeline) but thanks for the explanation.

RE: Star Wars Expanded Universe Timeline
Well, my reasoning with that is, if you were reading the whole SW universe for the first time in chronological order, you wouldn't want to read about events yet-to-come before they happened, so the best solution is to use the latest event as the anchor and treat everything else as a flashback.

Okay, you have 'I, Jedi' set after the Jedi Academy Trilogy, while the official timeline in the NJO book sputs it the other way around.
Also, the GODV books do not, in any way, shape, or form, fit into mainstream continuity. At the time that they were published, Heir To The Empire was the only post-ROTJ book released, and they were never meant to coincide with it.
Too slimy for spoilers!

Yes, they do.
And trust me. I am fully prepared to defend this opinion. I wouldn't recommend arguing against it, though. You
really

Oh, I think I do. Han and Leia were never married before. And don't go into that whole "The wedding was annulled thing." That's just stupid. There's no mention of if anywhere in the books, and in Courtship, it would have been mentioned when Han was constantly talking to Leia about marriage. They simply talk about how they've been dating for like five years.
And Luke never had an apprenice named Ken. That much is clear.
And Han getting his own place in Cloud City. Lando didn't een own Cloud City after TESB, remember?
Slimy!

The books are referred to in sources all the time. I think the general consensus is that the wedding itself never occured. According to the writers, an Imperial attack was slated to interupt the wedding in the 7th book (never published).

Very cool.
And yes GoDV does fit into continuity. It's an ugly fit and I hate it. But it does.

Yeah, and GODV has been getting a lot of references in other sources over the past couple years (with ties to Isard, Lumiya, and the fall of the Grand Admirals).
The wedding thing is, as mentioned above, basicly a "losy world" entry in that the 7th book was never published.
