	I didn't have much to go on for this one, so I went for the assassination connection. Not bad, considering I did in under 2 hours But I don't think it's one of my better ones. Still, here's my Rob Coleman submission: Cortex Loakye A successful director among the gentry on Metallos, this politician shifted his assets and influence to Coruscant where he was appointed within the Coruscant Ministry of Ingress shortly after the Separatist crisis began to reach it's peak. At least, that was his cover story. In truth, Cortex Loakye was an assassin contracted by a militant wing of the Refugee Relief Movement, planted as a response to the CMOI's actions towards and treatment of refugees. There he waited for his employers to provide him his target. By the time the Clone Wars broke out, his developing friendship with First Minister Tannon Praji helped earned him the position of Second Minister. Cortex even used his hidden talents to save his friend from an assassination attempt. As the Clone Wars started to draw to a close, the CMOI caved into COMPOR and began exporting members of Separtaist species from Coruscant. Immediately afterwards, Cortex was finally given his target: Tannon Praji. Though conflicted about the assignment, he chose to remain true to his profession. He accompanied Tannon to the Galaxies Opera House and, upon the closing act of Squid Lake, Cortex convinced Tannon to dismiss his bodyguard and lured Praji behind the box's privacy curtain. And there he struck. Sorrow filled his eyes as the vibro-blade drained life from his confused friend. Disposing of the bodyguard afterwards, Cortex the politician vanished, escaping to the mid-rim worlds. There, he prepared to retire upon reception of his final payment. However, despite the wealth, he remained troubled. After many sleepless nights, Cortex finally decided to avenge his friend, providing copies of documents and communications (censored to avoid traces back to him) to COMPOR, exposing the faction within the RRM and implicating them in Tannon's death. The documents further served to politically discredit the RFM's claims against Praji and others, clearing his good name. 	my easy way out was simply recycling my John Knoll idea, but with some changes... was too tired to try to create something anew... Bora Nedri worked his way from humble roots to become one of the Republic's business elite during the Clone Wars. Son of farmers on Ukio, Bora left for Coruscant with a technical education and landed a job as a signal technician for the Holonet News Service. In his spare time, Bora developed a new method for improving holographic image quality. Using venture capital from the Bank of the Core, he founded his own company, Nedri Holoworks. Within several years, nearly all the Republic's holoprojector manufacturers, such as Lockfiller, were using Nedri's new technology, and Bora Nedri became one of Coruscant's rising stars. Using his political connections, Bora secured a Republic contract for developing high security battlefield holocommunications during the Clone Wars. With an eye for the latest signal encryption and durability, Nedri Holoworks introduced portable holocomms that were first included in ARC trooper armor, and eventually built into all clone armor. After dominating the military market, Bora began to support Chancellor Palpatine's increased efforts to clamp down on the civilian media, to try to thwart his business rivals, like Chedak Communications and Brosso. Bora even personally installed a military holoprojector in the Chancellor’s office, so that Palpatine could bypass the chain of command and communicate with any unit in the field. While he preferred listening to jizzwailers in seedy tapcafes, Bora Nedri kept a box at the Galaxies Opera House for business purposes. For a performance of Squid Lake, he entertained several of his investors, including Tannon Praji, whose family influence had helped in lobbying for his most recent contract extension. i picked the name Nedri because the pic of Rob Coleman reminded me of newman from seinfeld whose actor also played Dennis Nedry in jurassic park -----signature----- Prophet of the Church of Waru. 	A bounty hunter! This one's gonna be good! Here's my entry for Rob Coleman: Viscount Tish Deha Fuhdacke F’Arcantoui: Viscount Tish Deha Fuhdacke F’Arcantoui was rumored to be the richest man on Coruscant. Nobody knew for sure how much money F’Arcantoui really had. He was the most successful member of the most successful aristocratic family on Coruscant. The F’Arcantouis weren’t natives of Coruscant. Two hundred years before the Viscount’s birth, the entire family had moved from Kuat to Coruscant in order to make new profits. Soon, they dominated the aristocracy of the planet. The outbreak of the Clone Wars meant even more profit for the F’Arcantouis. Kuat Drive Yards, the manufacturers who supplied the Republic with its war machines, produced vast amounts of wealth for the family. The Viscount enjoyed the life of the aristocracy on Coruscant while he profited from soldiers slaughtering each other safely away from him. When the war was brought to Coruscant, Tish fortified himself in his mansion, following that same pattern. Viscount Tish Deha Fuhdacke was a more artistic spirit than his relatives. Though himself, as a F’Arcantoui, a businessman, he enjoyed art more than anything else --except perhaps rimble-wine--. Whenever Chancellor Palpatine, his most important “rival” for the “title” of greatest patron of the arts in the galaxy, was enjoying a performance at one of Coruscant's theaters, the Viscount always sat in the box adjacent to his. One of his visits to the opera, in a box adjacent to that of the Chancellor's, in the Galaxies Opera House, led to a misunderstanding between the rich aristocrat and the Chair of the Coruscant Ministry of Ingress, Tannon Praji. Even though they had left Kuat, the F’Arcantouis had taken their customs with them. Dressed similarly to a Kuati telbun, the breeder class in Kuati society, Tannon Praji was deeply insulted when the Viscount asked him to whom did he belong. Tish apologized when he learned the truth, and the two enjoyed the Mon Calamari ballet performance in peace. In fact, this incident sparked the beginning of their long friendship. 	In case anybody didn't find out yet, there's a chance to take a 7-day free trial of hyperspace, but only for an unspecificed limited time. 	the new one is up -- Rodian mechanic from the Boonta Eve background. here's my Kalyn Farnmir story: Most bounty hunters don’t care too much about whether or not their quarry deserves to be captured, but Kalyn Farnmir is an exception. Kalyn built her reputation as a champion of those who were failed by Coruscant’s justice system; her targets usually included those who have avoided punishment through influence or bribes. Kalyn’s desire to hunt the corrupt stemmed from a need for justice after her own personal tragedy. Four years after Palpatine became Chancellor, Kalyn’s brother, Desu, was struck and killed by an airspeeder operated by Narsyy Piogen, an aide to Senator Edcel Bar Gane. Though arrested, Piogen avoided criminal charges through Gane’s political influence. Unsatisfied with the outcome, Kalyn began meticulously tracking Piogen, who went into hiding. To gather data, Kalyn befriended a court clerk, Tari Yapo, who was impressed by Kalyn’s vigilante skills. Tari told Kalyn about other crime victims unable to get justice and the criminals who walked free due to the corrupt court system. To fund her continued pursuit of Piogen, Kalyn took hunting jobs from Tari’s crime victim contacts. Her first bounty was hunting down an Abyssin, who ran a protection racket in Coco Town for Fernooda the Dug. Because most crime victims couldn’t post high bounties, Kalyn started taking regular bounties to support herself and to get close to some of her actual targets. Kalyn often met with Tari at the Outlander Club for drinks to celebrate a successful hunt. At one such meeting, shortly before the Clone Wars, Tari passed Kalyn some important information: Narsyy Piogen’s whereabouts in the Lower Arbra District. Kalyn spied Zam Wesell running into the club. After Tari said her goodbyes, Kalyn relaxed in a quiet moment. This was interrupted by the patron next to her attacking someone in the crowd with a lightsaber: Kalyn turned to see Zam on the floor, minus an arm, but turned back to follow a suggestion to go back to her drink. 	Here's my Kalyn entry: Kalyn Farnmir Though with little early success, Kalyn Farnmir offered her services as a bounty hunter after she was forced to provide for both herself and her younger sister, Jessa, following the deaths of their parents during an airspeeder accident. Determined to overcome her failures, Kal departed Coruscant in search of training. After failing to find a mentor on Corulag, Teghirios or Tatooine, she was finally accepted into the fabled Snow Roach clan on Akuria. During the months of training, she honed her skills and befriended fellow trainee Cian Shee during "snow demon" hunts in the system. Returning to Coruscant with her new partner, the two had a string of successes, leading to a bounty posted on the fugitive Whimper Save- a job Kal accepted with much interest after learning Whimper was somehow connected to Kee'per Vaca, the very Tarnab responsible for the accident that killed her parents. Spotted in the Coco District, Kal & Cian scouted many of the nightclubs and cantinas for Save. After ensnaring Vaca, Cian discovered a lead and summoned Kalyn to the Outlander. When Kalyn arrived, she embraced Cian when told the good news. Cian then left to see to her captive as Kalyn continued the search for Save, noting the man next to her's success in convincing a local deathsticks dealer to depart. It was then that she spotted her target- in the unexpected presence of a man she recognized as conman Dannl Faytonni. In light of that interesting development, she decided to investigate the situation further instead of outright apprehending Save at that moment. Moving away from the bar to find a more suitable point to observe Whimper, a startling explosion of blue light hummed to life behind her- the lightsaber of a Jedi Knight disarming bounty hunter Zam Wesell. Kalyn used the distraction to move into position, setting off a series of events that would lead her to the heart of a tangled web of criminal activity and a hunt that would ultimately bring her, Jessa & Cian much wealth. Threw in a couple in-jokes for Mary, and got the Cian and Wimper names from the Who's Who Outlander article.
