Oh we must see a scene of mumuu hunting, in between scenes of Huk carnage, death, and horror.

Fun stuff! dancing

(And still I keep thinking... there must be some good in him, before all the rewiring of his brain by the Seppies.)

Well, well. It looks like we may have another batch of Star Wars Tales after all. If you can read Japanese, that is...

Infinities, yes, but so was Tales. Any chance of references of this showing up in future work, Abel? batting

And there seems to be a pic of Grievy pre-cyborg...

Yasushi Nirasawa spins a tale of General Grievous, on his mission to the toxic world of Dica to hunt down Force-using prey.

Interesting... thinking

So Halagad, was your take that Grevious was modified by Sidious and Dooku to be psychotic or he was always psychotic and he was just modified to be their puppet to mind tricks (I doubt he's naturally weak minded)

Will we also find out what happened to Grievous' starfighter after Episode III?

Maybe Obi-Wan took it to Tatooine and sold it to Watto?

Just got the CW Cartoon Volume 2 for Christmas, and I'm wondering if a few questions will be answered by this article...

Will we learn why GG's schematics (or something very much like him...) appeared on a screen in that Techno Union lab? Also, will we get any info on that ship that Grievy uses at the end of the cartoon?

Thanks. happy

I believe that's the tri-wing shuttle described by Luceno in Labyrinth of Evil. But there's no technical info on it - yet.

Perhaps it ties into the origin of Necrosis hinted at in Abel's blog?

And hopefully, if I'm lucky, it might jive with "All in a Day's Work", me and Antilles2001's co-op here...if not, well, then a Fanon Retcon will be in order to shore up that damage. tongue

According to the SW.com databank, the Techno Union researchers on Nelvaan were inspired by the cyborging processes used to create Grievous. This was in a larger effort by the Techno Union to reinforce battle droids with organics, an effort that included the cloning project on Saleucami. (Nice tie-ins all around there.)

doh!

Forgot about that Databank update. Hopefully, Abel's article will add in some more details.

I wish they'd hurry up and add entries on more of the stuff from Season 2, especially creating bios on all those aliens in the crowd where Anakin meets Padme. Maybe they'll be featured for What's the Story...

Hey folks! Happy holidays!

You just might get your wish, wookieepedian. Or close to it, anyway.

Sure. Grievous had a good upbringing... sort of. But there are choices we make in life, and unlike Anakin, Grievous never chose to come back from the pit he got sucked into.

Oh Nirasawa, what are you doing to me?

Don't count on a ref in the near future. And yet...

That's manga for you. I'm actually pretty excited about this collection.

I wouldn't say he was psychotic pre-cyborg, but he definitely wasn't the nicest guy for reasons that will become obvious. He definitely became more and more emotionally unstable as time went on, partly due to choices he made and partly due to direct tampering while getting 'borged.

Take care,
Abel

I have a tendency toward doing that. I figure might as well do it right.

Yes.

It might. Honestly, I don't know at the moment. I'm currently hammering out some Necrosis details with the LucasArts guys.

It does. I was actually grateful the Databank didn't invalidate anything in the Story of Grievous since I'd written the piece months before those Season 2 entries went up.

Take care,
Abel
