I would really have liked to see more about Grievous during the Clone Wars--Unknown Soldier really just skimmed over that part of his life, which I thought was odd. Of course, it leaves room for Grievous to appear as an antagonist in later CW stories, but I would have liked to see something, even if it was just expanding on what we already knew. (What Grievous was doing at Xagobah, why Tarkin, Anakin, two other Jedi and an Iron Knight were there...seems like over kill...)

>Now, to move even further along this strange tangent, here's a photo of the singing alien at Cosmic Ray's in Disney World, Sonny Eclipse:<

Ah ha! I can always count on you guys for pictures. grin Now, I just need to get the one of me standing next to the snowspeeder developed...

I found this on a fan Disney Q@A page:

>I know that Sonny Eclipse is actually a duplicate of Officer Zzzzyxxx from Tokyo Disneyland's Star Tours/Pan Galactic Pizza Port complex, but was this alien originally created for Plectu's Revue?<

http://jimhillmedia.com/mb/articles/printer_friendly.php?ID=437

Could be wrong, of course, but interesting if true...

They should put ol' Zzzzyxxx up for a What's the story. wink

Actually, Halagad was pretty decrepit (and was wearing Palpy-class robes) when the heroes find him in Domain of Evil, IIRC...

About Lumiya's Cyborged body...

Darth Vader had already found a way to repair his ravaged body through the force and with Shira being his only surviving apprentice I thought maybe He taught it to her... so what could Lumiya be doing other than planning Luke's downfall all this time? Rebuilding her body of course, quite possibly enhancing it for upcoming battle for Luke's affection? kidding. She was defeated by Luke in a cyborg body, so why not increase her potency to full and hide and wait until she was at full capacity to strike.

About the Article...

More narrative but with the same amount of EU connections...

I know the policy for the novel authors, but wondered if it was different for the freelance, or now retainer authors.

Oh and Abel, very cool naming for Sageon and Bridger! Very subtle. Just noticed your comment on Dan's blog. grin

worried I'm starting to see this Atha guy everywhere now.... never heard of him before the GG article. I was just surfing Google on some random EU picture quest, and lo and behold, I see Atha Prime's name pop up a couple of times on a few crazy backwater websites.
At the times of the attempted Fact Files ref, I was actually in the middle of a bit of an Atha Prime crusade, though the other projects I'd referenced him in were slated for Polyhedron, and we know where that went.

Barriss_Coffee posted:
For instance, I would have liked to have known more about Qymaen's relationship with the Izvoshra, since their deaths were so tragic. Personally I would have also liked to have seen more of San Hill, since I'm not entirely convinced he really got anything out of giving Grievous to Dooku (the lack of Grievous at the Battle of Muunilist seemed to be a good example of this).
Yeah, I would've loved to have gone into more of these things.

Barriss_Coffee posted:
I'm also curious about the battles Grievous actually won in the Wars, since the EU does a good job of revealing his many failures.
That's true. There's a small reference to Grievous kicking butt in the Battle of Parein II 4 in Lord of War.

Barriss_Coffee posted:
Of course, the only way any of this could be explained would be if Unknown Soldier were longer... which you probably knew I was going to say anyway. wink
Standard assumption. I'm actually asking about these things because word from up top is that shorter Insider projects may be the new norm in the future. So I'll have to take this into consideration when writing.

Appreciate your feedback, Quest and Coffee!

Take care,
Abel

Actually, I believe I mentioned the possibility as far back as the Fact Files thread, and it might've been converted into "fact" since then.

But ironically I just got my hands on a set of Fact Files myself, and after a cursory look, Atha Prime does not seem to be anywhere in sight. Pity. But all hope is not lost. Just delayed.
