It's tricky to add alien characteristics in a workable sense- sometimes, like with Cetsus Deception's sex-rotating giant spiders, it can backfire and come across as excessively silly- alienness fo the sake of being alien.

If you didn't forget about him/her, you should've named him/her. tongue

Could you pleeeaaasssseee some how add it into the endnotes or something? praying

Still Super, adding something like that to the endnotes wouldn't make it canonical, I don't think.

Finally found the Huk quote in The Swarm War:

"That's odd, Captain Solo," C-3PO said. "I don't see any bugs at all. The Verpine are a species of mantid, the Fefze are more closely related to beetles, and the Huk are much closer to vespids than---"
-The Swarm War, p. 96

Now, vespids are kinds of wasps, so this doesn't jive with the Huk's new identity as an alias of the Yam'rii, who are mantids. So. We need a retcon.

The fact that the name "Huk" is a slang term for the Yam'rii could be used as an advantage, especially since it means "soulless bug.". Perhaps the term was taken up by those in contact with the Kaleesh as a term for any insectoid species, and it stuck to one. This could explain why Threepio uses the term, and could explain why he says their vespids: they aren't the true Huk, but another species altogether. Of course, this poses problems of its own; notably, why any species would be given/take on such a derogatory name.

Hey Abel, maybe you could connect these mysterious waspish Huks to the Nevoota (which we know are bee-like wink ) and the Brizzit, which also appear to be some sort of wasp or fly. After all, the Brizzit are nearly extinct, and the Nevoota were (supposedly) wiped out by the Mandalorians... maybe they're trying to hide their identity... wink mischief batting

Bingo brother. I'll be talking a little bit more about B'ink in Part 2 of the Grievous endnotes.

4-8C is depicted as a plain looking IG-88 type assassin droid in the playing cards that come with the Star Wars Missions. Who knows though, maybe he's ballin so out of control he got gold-plated. wink

Take care,
Abel

Thanks T-Mac.

I thought I got all those. They really don't like that sound to come out in any letter combination other that this one, do they? This from a corporation that promotes "jizz wailing."

I definitely don't think Grievous ever fit into the hierarchy beneath Tann, that's for certain. I think Grievous was still in "developing experiment" status while Tann had her day in the sun.

I believe Wallace mentions in the NEC that Tann did hold more authority than Grevious in the early days of the war.
