Can't think of any triangular Seperatist ships

There was the Storm Fleet, all special KDY models sold on the sly.

Maybe. Storm Fleet was pretty early in the war, IIRC, so the timing could work.

I'm not sure if Grievous is on it, since his transmission voice bubble in the second pic looks like it's coming from one of the Assault Munificents. But that's not a foolproof indicator, of course.

I am kinda partial to the idea that it's a command ship, though. KDY command ships start out small... and then grow up to be 19 kilometer titans. tongue

The Storm Fleet consists of "heavily armed bulk freighters" according to the NEC - so despite manufacture by KDY they aren't necessarily triangle-shaped.

OK, I know I should recall the name, but the Empire uses those transports in Dark Empire, the ones that transport the battle droids, which are basically bulk freighters and have the triangle-warship design, so I wouldn't rule out the Storm Fleet idea...I wish that could be an official retcon, as Storm Fleet has no pics

If you are referring to the Modular Taskforce Cruiser, they were made by TaggeCo.

Maybe, but there is no reason that a bulk freighter couldn't be triangle shaped.

Interesting possibility for EU resin model kits...

I was at Wonderfest in Louisville, KY. Talked to a model maker there. Told him about the new color illustration of the Nebula Class Star Destroyer from Starships Of The Galaxy Volume 2. He took notes. He might do a kit based on the NebStarD. Oh and I also told him about the Endurance Class Fleet Carrier sharing the same basic hull. So perhaps in a year or two we might have the opportunity to own a NebstarD and ECFC from the late New Galactic Republic or the Galactic Alliance! When you think about it the NebstarD and ECFC are perfect for resin model kits. Fans of the hobby love the mix match nature of Trek based designs. The NebstarD and ECFC are like the 1979 Enterprise refit and the Wrath Of Kahn Reliant. Both share components and yet are different.

The manufacturer is irrelevant to my basic point...that a wedge-shape ship could still be a bulk freighter. Especially one with a military application.

Caught part of the TCW Decoded episode of "Destroy Malevolence". In addition to such obscure facts as "Did you know that Padme and Anakin are secretly married?", it also provided an estimated length for the Malevolence. I don't recall the exact text, but it said something to the effect of "just under 5 km."

"That's 50 football fields!" doh!

Didn't they read the Wook? It's actually 7,892 meters long. Guess they'll have to go back and change the episode... laugh

I still want to know if there is a page with links to all the online decoded episodes.

And I still want to know what kind of bird folds its wings the way a Torrent fighter does. Must be a SW species!

Yeah, most of the decoded stuff is "fluff" I think is aimed at kiddie viewers. (Submarines also have periscopes). Other than the length of Malevolence, I haven't seen anything worth noting. There was a nice bit on its number of turbolasers...which I still haven't cross-referenced with CWCG to see if it matches. That is about it.

If it was 5 miles the numbers would work out fine.

did anyone else notice an interesting tidbit in Dawn of Defiance 9? That Incom/Subpro, in Prakith system, were designing and Imperial scout ship which was a cross of the Z-95 and ARC-170?

Around 5 km, according to the expanded version of TCW.
