How many here think that Mara's parents are going to be that one Jedi (Alaya Secura's teacher) and his lover? Personally I don't because in a lot of sources, it says that Mara is two years younger than Luke and the timeframe wouldn't add up.

Is the two years younger official now? Before I heard she was two years older or the same age.
I don't think we will ever find out who her parents are.

Apparently Mara's about a year younger than Luke and is the same age as Corran.

Oh geez! If that turns out to be the case, I swear I will start banging my head on my deak. I can handle only so many coincidences. It doesn't take too much to go from "Amazing!" to "Are you kidding me?" Anakin's building of C-3PO is about as much as I can take.

I still think in the coming TV series Vader will on occasion be seen as a hero of Imperial propaganda. Kind of a 'Dark Knight' like Batman. It could be that Mara Jade's young father is like Vader's Robin. And Coruscant/rest of galaxy being like Gotham. If so it's kinda neat to think that the two fathers worked together as a team. Unfortunately for the wrong side. That is put right when their children meet and marry and work as a husband and wife team in the GFFA future.

 , is my response. Q/K=M would be performing some impressive shark-jumping... I mean, they have all Mara's physical traits: fair skin, freckles, green eyes and red-gold hair...
Ben/Kahleen, on the other hand... 
Then again, whoever did the makeup and styling for Shannon's photoshoots didn't exactly seem bothered about cheapening or distorting the character...

Its unlikely both parents were jedi. Possible that one was force sensitive or a descendant of a "Lost 20" jedi......
As for Quinlan and Khaleen - I don't know much about either of them so I can't say Yes or No to that.

A little off topic, but on what book covers is Shannon the official model? None of them really look like her. And I am pretty certain that Angie Everhart is the woman portrayed as Mara in SQ. See, I have some evidence of this theory:  . Of course it may just be a coincidence.

Back on topic, though that probably won't last long, I'm guessing that Mara's father was actually Senator Palpatine, and her mother was none other then Sly Moore! Yes, Sly Moore! Palpatine and his chief aide were Mara's mommy and pop! Fear the dark side albino Baldness!
(And it explains why Palpatine kept her in such a high position trained her to be a dark Jedi )
