Nothing particularly- Threepio exclaimed "Oh, no!" in reaction to the Rancor, so the netspeak/gamer version of that phrase seemed appropriate for this scenario, and make it a bit funnier.

IIRC "Oh, no!" is also the last line in ROTS...

Well, the Rancor example, given the Rancor/Jabba's Palace visual reference, is what was intended.

I was breezing through River of Chaos today and I noticed a familiar little kangarooish thing in some guy's pocket [bottom left].

It seems Aroo is canon... laugh

(And for some reason, there's a hairy Hutt in the background, though Zorba is in prison at the time... thinking )

Hopefully soon- I still have an epilogue to the Aroo arc that I had hoped to get out sooner, but the holidays were really busy for me.

The next few are planned out, though, it's just a matter of drawing and scannin em.

I do think I'll be able to get a few done in the near future, with my now-trademark year-old references and jokes wink

It's no use, 'Quest. You've raised your standard too high with the pants'n'kangaroo. Not even a Circlet of Saresh could help you surpass that. wink

Though it's regarding a thread in Games, I figure fans of this thread would get a kick out out this little piece: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYel6I3LHkA (warning: language), (especially since it answers at least one lingering question here...)

As for the regular strip, hopefully I'll have a new series for ya in the coming months (now with even further out-of-date jokes- are ya ready for some Betrayal release jokes? wink ).
