Sorry, but the clone wars have been quite shoddy in the novel department. Is there action in it? Yes or NO? Is it a lot?

I'll have a new Republic commando short story in issue #87 of Insider. (That's the one that ships to subscribers around the end of March or early April.) The art is by the sublime Robert Hendrickson, who illustrated Targets in #81. The story is called ODDS and it's set a few months after the end of Triple Zero. It features Atin from Omega Squad and Null ARC Lieutenants Mereel and Prudii. Between them, they discover that the first casualty of war, as we all know only too well these days, is a precious and fragile thing called the truth. I've been sitting on this one for a few months; it answers a question that I wouldn't be drawn on at the time. But now, as we journos say, the real story can be told.
