Vader's Legacy is the tentative title of an article written by Abel G. Peña and illustrated by Joe Corroney, scheduled to appear in Star Wars Insider 88. It will be a Legacy of the Force tie-in, highlighting the legacy Darth Vader left behind after his death, including species he enslaved, his dark side strongholds, and his various dark side students.
A supplemental article appearing on Star Wars Hyperspace is also expected.
Also see the related article on Wookieepedia.
Huzzah!
EDIT: Due to delays, we don't know what issue this will be in, but we're guessing its in the 90s...

Didn't we get enough of Vader in Vader: The Ultimate Guide?

San Hill is so tough... He's the only Separatist Council member to survive Darth Vader's slaughter on Mustafar. I want that Muun, not excuses! That's no Muun, it's a Space Station.

His Coruscant retreat needed plenty of explanation! Floors that turn into ceilings, surfaces that appear and disappear, what tech is that?

My utilisation of complex locution to ask what's more pathetic, fans who worship their movie actors, or the actors who couldn't give a damn, is more a reflection of my own superincumbent mental actuity than any circumscribed lexicon. Don't you agree?

Are you in the mood for any further Star Wars Galaxies references, Abel?
The Emperor's Retreat on Naboo is just BEGGING for an explanation, as well as the Jedi village of Aurilia

Nice. You know this could actually give some insight into what they of Legacy Luke could leave behind. By that I mean how Vader's is actually detailed and thus apply the way they go about it to Luke. For those worried about Luke's Legacy due to the release fo the Legacy comic series, we might have a clue as to what LFL/DR/and possibly DH mean by "legacy" left behind.
It doesn't have to be actual events, could be something that was built, etc.

Being Sith, did Vader and Palpatine ever create holocrons of their own?

I've always wondered that to be honest. Don't recall anyone ever asking that question either.

Dark Lord seemed to imply that all Sith from Bane onwards relied on a single holocron, which I found to be ridiculous.

So who might we see in this? As far as characters, I imagine we'll hear about:
- Lumiya
- Flint
- Hethrir
Species he enslaved/decimated? Kadrillans, maybe? Falleen?
I'm excited about this one!

Sweet. This will confirm ALOT of speculation on just how many sith assets were left behind by vader specificly. And hopefully the depth of training he gave his own acolytes

Don't forget the S'kytri, from Marvel...
Could we even get a second reference to that new Manga, since it had a story about Vader having another apprentice...?
And who wouldn't want another reference to Tales: Resurrection?

sorry to stick to this subject, and i don't wanna derail the thread but i just find this interesting, are they still using the multi-millenia old holocron recorded by darth andeddu that Dooku had?
Is this Sith holocron the same one used by Kit Fisto to get the schematics for the lightwhip?
I agree Legs, I would have thought that nearly all the DlotS' would have, and that most of the appeal would be making the knowledge they considered to be 'juicy' that much harder to obtain.
I wouldn't mind seeing a Darth Revan holocron turn up somewhere, even if it is just wishful thinking

The Dark Empire radio drama reveals that Palpatine never figured out how to make or use a holocron, which is even more ridiculous.
