Rogue_Follower posted:Any hint on the web enhancement? 'Cause there are some pretty interesting obscure sources dealing with him that need references. Particuarly him fighting Luke over a Sith Amulet in Yoda Stories (which could possibly be connected to his indestructable Mandalorian crushgaunt... a legacy of his, right? ) Also, various boss beasts first appearing to be him in the Namco Star Wars game, and his legendary ("Vader... with a Gun!?!") gun from Empire Strikes Back for NES, Boba Fett: Enemy of the Empire, and the old Kenner toy line.

NeoStar9 posted:Nice. You know this could actually give some insight into what they of Legacy Luke could leave behind. By that I mean how Vader's is actually detailed and thus apply the way they go about it to Luke. For those worried about Luke's Legacy due to the release fo the Legacy comic series, we might have a clue as to what LFL/DR/and possibly DH mean by "legacy" left behind. It doesn't have to be actual events, could be something that was built, etc.
Rogue_Follower posted:Could we even get a second reference to that new Manga, since it had a story about Vader having another apprentice...?

From http://www.myuselessknowledge.com/swfa/Ret-Con.html This wouldn't come up in the Vader article, would it? (Have to say, I'm not too wild about the idea...) TC
arf_maul posted:BTW, Emperor's Retreat is also featured in Star Wars Galaxies: Ruins of Dantooine, though negative reviews have put that book very low on my "to read" list.
WhillJedi posted:I think the Emperor's Retreat might be more of a Palpatine's Legacy-type thing though. Vader has his own interesting retreats, such as Bast Castle, his Coruscant residences, etc.

Rouge77 posted:One would think that Naboo is one of those places that Darth Vader spends as little time as possible - if he avoids Tatooine to avoid "waking" Anakin Skywalker, surely the same goes with Naboo? Maybe Palpatine can use this to his advantage, keep Lord Vader on Naboo on extended times now and then and so make his apprentice face his past and become less sure of himself as he has to fight with and bury his past again, and so he would be less a threat to his master´s current well being? After all, Sidious needs to keep Vader strong enough to serve him well, but not strong enough to overthrow and kill him...
