Real spoilers about it or just hype about great things that will happen in it? confused

I've read the article while at Suncoast in my mall. It's all basically old stuff that we already knew about.

Yeah, it says a lot of things that we've speculated like there will be fan unhappiness (but that's kinda of subjective), but only one thing (about Lumiya and Alema) that could even really be considered a spoiler. The wording of the article substantiated the rightness of the decision by the Lit mods to keep this to one thread and be prepared in my eyes, though.

When are we allowed to actually discuss Sacrifice in other threads?

The date I saw in the discussion thread in Mod Squad was June 29 - this Friday. Rhonderoo or one of the Lit mods can confirm this.

I think that's correct, 1 month after US release which was May 29th at C4 IIRC

Based upon the feedback from the Sacrifice experiment, here's what we're going to do for Inferno:

    1) Same one official thread bit as before. No spoilers outside of this thread for the novel.
    2) At DAY OF release, we get a review thread put up as well (spoilers allowed).
    3) At DAY OF release, users may request to moderators to start a new thread with a particular subject from the novel. This will be done in a limited capacity at the moderators' discretion.
    4) At TWO WEEKS beyond release, spoilers are allowed outside of the official thread in HTR-only.
    5) At ONE MONTH beyond release, spoiler period ends as normal.

In addition, normal rules apply: signatures and usernames are subject to all of the above.

dp, you really ought to update the first post so that it has the real current rules in it. Silly mod.

Are we going to post the spoiler rules for Fury here soon, or do one of those scrolling bars like for Inferno? There are lots of major spoilers wandering around already.

The spoiler rules are the same as above (couple of posts).

I was hoping to try and avoid the float-y scrolling marquee as it seemed to give everyone a headache, but we can always add it back if people need/want?
