Man, I thought we'd gotten an announcement for a second. frustrated

Haven't read PoD yet, bit I'm not sure that I want Karpyshyn writing anymore books.

Darth Andeddu won the TOS Sith poll with 45%. Especially surprising given that he's an unknown and that the competition included Freedon, Sion, and Nihilus. Hopefully LFL got the point.

I certainly think a continuation of Bane, Farfalla, and Zannah's (and Pernicar's ghost's plain ) stories would be interesting, especially if the book went into detail on just how devastating the Ruusan war was to both the Jedi and the Sith (suddenly, Sith from Bane's order can't become Force Ghosts anymore, can they?) and to the Republic government. But maybe someone other than Drew?

I'm holding for an Exar Kun book too, I thought he was rather overdone in terms of character in the comic but that didn't mean he wans't good. drooling

Should I tell him 2ndQuest drew me with a kangaroo head sticking out of my pants?

Lets keep an open mind about this. The Vong wear living underwear, remember. It was just never said aloud.

Why does everyone want more Sith...?

[face_yawn]

Can't we have more varied Jedi? Look at the comics (Quin, Tholme, Tr'a, Jennir, that Bothan); or at the Bantam novels (Mara, Corran, C'baoth), or even some of the NJO (Uldir, Miat Temm, Ganner, Tenel Ka, Tahiri)...

Or, of course, at the SWAJ/Hyperspace short stories (Brandl/Fable/Jaalib, Alex Winger, Aryzah, Cavv Cryle)...

Take a step into a wider world!!! grin

And I'd also quite like to see another Zahn or Stover hardcover, or else a Keyes one...

I'd definitley like to see Stover or Keyes get another book in. I'd kind of like a one-off NR-era adventure from Keyes, something with the NJO (the order, not the book series).

Could I dream about a story set around 120-130 ABY? Seeing Kol Skywalker and the New Jedi Order, and the beggining of the Imperial Knights...

Or a Yoda novel. That would be great tooo!

I really want another Stover novel. While I enjoy the vast majority of SW novels, his just have an extra something that makes them special.

Yeah, what's that called again?

Oh, yeah. Good writing.

But yes, Stover would be fantastic.

I enjoy most of the current writers but Stover is just a step above them.

It could be the story explaining Darth Krayt.

Or continuing the adventures of Cade Skywalker.

I haven't read it yet, but I've heard good things concerning Path of Destruction. Novels that have delved into Force Philosophy have been tantalizing (anything by Stover, Destiny's Way, Vision of the Future, and more!).

What would you folks think of...

A dialectic written similar to Plato's Republic, which sees senior masters of the New Jedi Order sit down and discuss the Force for 400 pages. Written by Stover.

Are the Republic Commando books really on a different contract? I was going to note that we didn't know about Triple Zero until a few months beforehand.
