The Sith Are indeed the Sith Species, and they were indeed wiped out. Whatever Revan and Kreia thought was out there was either a lie or just wrong.

I'll recheck the article just in case, but I'm pretty sure that only the teachings survived, not the species.

Hmm, any new info on people like Marka, Palpatine or Shadowspawn/Blackhole? Or how exactly Belia Darzu, the Dark Underlord and Ruin died? Or the final fates of Cognus, Millenial and Zannah?

I'm curious and I lack hyperspace...

If you look at the summaries we posted it's almost all up there, but I'll reiterate:

Belia Darzu was poisoned by the Mecrosa

The Dark Underlord was Killed by Jedi Master Something (weird freaky name, check the wookie)


And I would sugges to people to get Hyperspace, it's more than worth it in the long run, especially now that the movies are gone.

Young Adult novels rule. Did you see the inescapable references to Glove of Darth Vader? grin Even the little details, like the Royal Guards looking to the Church of the Dark Side and the three-eyed founder of the Prophets, tie into some of the more subtle aspects of the story. I LOVE the use of Lundi (Abel writes better dialogue for him then Watson did) and Orloc, from Jedi Apprentice and Junior Jedi Knights, respectively. Also, some mysteries from Jedi Apprentice: The Followers are cleared up. The Sith holocron from the story is given a nice long history, and apparently the mysterious starship pilot at the end of the story is Sidious's agent...and, if I'm reading it right, Carnor Jax's father?! I'd been hoping it would be Granta Omega, to tie-in with Jedi Quest, but still cool.

This is the sort of reason Lucas is critisised. Ill just learn the lore via Wookiepedia. Good capitalism involves value for money.
