The Pulsar Skate depicted in the Rogue Squadron comics heavily contradicts the Rogue Squadron books' description of a twin-engined rear on triangular down-sloped wings.

If Michael was consulting with the art team, as I've been told, how did this happen? What is now the official shape? Technically, the skate is an aquatic mantalike creature like the book version.

Phantom Affair TPB has them, at the back. Concept art.

I know them and love them happy thx, but if any fanon deckplans of the rest exist let me know^^

btw: the skate is a modified baudo, maybe there are several different styles and types of baudo's. I wonder what the original looks like. definitely not like the baudo we know. someone needs to deconstruct the skate in fanart to get the original look.

Well, WEG's books present the stock Baudo as that picture on the right, and you can find an excellent fan-made deckplan of it in the Star Wars Artist's Guild. In my opinion the comics screwed up in coming up with this new, almost completely contradictive, version of the Baudo yacht for the Pulsar Skate.

Wow, the second one is pretty sweet looking, almost like an oversized Jedi starfighter... the first one looks like something out of a space rts or something...

The comics version looks far more "Star Warsy" then the one on the right. Plus, isn't something that actually appears in a story higher canon then something from a reference book?

If you really can't live with it, just say Mirax got a different ship between the comics and books, and called it the same name. Like the Enterprise.

Once upon a time, the Moldy Crow was a WEG-type Baudo, before LucasArts decided to make it less sleek and more, uh, distinguished. See this page from an old PC Gamer magazine for screenshots (the rest of the article can be found at the bottom of this page.)

Is the picture on the left just the ship, cause it looks like a lambda is docked on it's roof.

If you remove that, then the ship just becomes a blockier version of the sleek model on the right...that can be explained away I would guess.

So Devaronian females are suppose to have thick fur, eh?
Has anyone seen one outside an essential guide?
...
When even the creative teams refuse to make fuzzy Devaronians...it should be a clue, folks.
Thus endeth the lesson.

Although they are close in general shape, it's not a Lambda.

well not neccessarily a lambda, but alone, does that not look like a shuttle or lander itself?

Is that image of the skate followed up anywhere else in the comic to confirm the appearance?

Perhaps not a lambda (though artistic expression when it comes to ships has long been allowed) but it certainly appears to be a second ship hooked to the roof of the Skate.

*Tangent*

Anyone else think it looks like the ship from Captain Power & the Soldiers of the Future?

Did I just date myself?

That is indeed how the Pulsar Skate is officially portrayed, even though the Baudo Yacht is obviously different.

This is from the CCG

This I believe is from Gamer or something like that?
