Besides, using meters to measure human height gets awfully confusing.

Only if you're an American, still clinging tightly to the outdated Queen Anne system of measurement.

And potato chips are "crisps". Whatever. It's still a lot easier to say somebody's "six-six" than "one point nine-eight-one meters", or "one and nine-hundred and eighty-one thousands of a meter". talk_hand

I remember the discussions of grey/gray Jedi on these boards, or when Ex seemed to be under the impression that the correct pronunciation of "Kun" was intuitive for most Americans.
