Sure Kyle is fairly well unstoppable in the video games. But EVERY PC in the video games is awesome! So again i ask, what makes Kyle Katarn so great? So far everything is just a bunch of converted Chuck Norris quotes. Now if it's simply that you want a baseless thread that you can just make stuff up about a sometimes major character then fine. But label it as such. For instance...

*WARNING* All 'facts' are merely the personal beliefs of the people posting them. In FACT Kyle Katarn is no more or less incredible than the average Star Wars EU character.

I'm really NOT trying to be a frak-head, i'm just not seeing how it is that Kyle's that cool. He just seems like a Force-able Dash Rendar.

I don't think we need an idiot warning on this thread, any more than my clock radio needs a warning not to be used in the bath, or than stormtroopers need a warning not to be used near Kyle Katarn.

Most of the arguments though revolve around the game version of Kyle Katarn, so in fact, Kyle isn't the baddass, but anyone who's played a game AS Kyle would be the badass!

I'm just giving you all a little grief. Though i DO think that there should be more 'fact' in the thread, i honestly found most of the posts to be hilarious! I really don't know a whole lot about Kyle Katarn. I played the games, but they weren't my favorite so i just kind of powered through them. Although i DID notice in the games that you ALMOST had to try to be defeated. I suppose that means either the game designers just wanted to build and easy game, or in point of fact Kyle really is a badass. And as a show of good faith...

Fact: Kyle Katarn is so badassed he drinks Mustafarian bottled lava instead of ice water.

Well, my favorite all-time "Kyle-fact" is, in fact, an actual fact (help, i apparently have Tenel Ka disease) -- coming from one (the first one if memory serves) of the Dark Forces novellas:

"An officer turned, saw Kyle, and died".
