From what I recall it has been said that they developers are aiming for something like that though.
And after thinking about it more, I really don't think the Force is really much more extreme than usual. It just looks like this guy is very very powerful with TK, but his lightning is downright pathetic compared to what you can do as Kyle Katarn at level 3 lightning. Kyle is more or less Palpatine level at that point, capable of sending people flying with a single burst. The guy in the tech demo can't do anything like that.
So it more or less balances out IMO.

Heh, you know, I actually was thinking about something like that while reading Allegiance, particularly during scenes with Mara being sneaky. Splinter Cell...with Force powers! I'd buy it.
Jedi really shouldn't be all out with the lightsaber and Force all the time. After all, they are supposed to, you know, avoid conflict when possible. In that manner, Obi-Wan in Episode IV had class.
I still think he would have had no problem flicking off the buzz droids, though.

We should probably remember that since this is all "Next Gen" stuff that the developers and people behind the systems want to show off what the engines and platforms can do, so we're probably seeing the absolute top of the line stuff here, playtest stuff designed to tease and show off to the average gamer, not the average SW fan.
It wouldn't surprise me to see a VERY different game indeed when this finally drops.
All the next gen stuff has been hyped with showing the absolute max abilities of the system and game, so I don't see this being any different.
I want to see a storyline trailer or a gameplay trailer before I make any judgements.

Along with Oola, I think Shaak Ti is one of the only female [movie] characters we've actually seen topless and fully revealed---you can see her nipples in one of the concept pieces in The Art of AotC, though only in profile. Don't ask me how or why I remember these things.
Do I really have to?
I wonder at your implication that we've seen topless EU characters. Star Wars is turning into a pit of depravity!
Aye, depravity. Off the top of my head, we've seen most of the leading females in various states of undress (mainly in Union's shower/bath scene, but also some moments in the TTT comics.) But AFAIK Oola and Shaak Ti are the only ones we've seen without a conveniently placed something-or-other in the foreground. This is probably because both of the, ah, revealing pictures are concept drawings, instead of comic panels. The Oola image is substantially worse than the Shaak Ti one, though. I'm pondering whether posting it would be bannable.
And for the record I don't keep memory records of nudes in SW---just SW art in general.

For a mod, you're not setting a very good example for the rest of us.
Therefore, I request permission so I may call "Force Unleashed" "FU" again.

You start dark in this game. Take a look at the guy who tears apart the Jedi Temple in Episode III for a study on the kind of thing you're going to be doing here.

The notion of posting a screenshot from STAR WARS as being a bannable offense, no matter what the content, strikes me as laughable.

Strange that LucasArts would've included that particular bit of concept art in Behind The Magic, considering that the program seemed to be aimed at younger fans.

Jello: I'm not speaking of a screenshot (no, its not the infamous "RotJ wardrobe malfunction"), I'm talking of full on frontal nudity. Yes, its from an official source (The Art of RotJ, Behind the Magic, etc.), but it also contains "objectionable content." Thus, a dilemma.
Either way, you're probably right---it by itself wouldn't be banworthy. A warning, perhaps, but not a straight up ban.

Nonsense. He notably did not refer to a picture of the Galactic Emperor sans robes, now did he?
EDIT: Also, your icon is sacrilegous.

Rather an odd thing to become excited over...
Then again, maybe not.
