I was flicking through a PlayStation magazine and it had an 8 page preview of the graphic novel...seems that PROXY isn't all together a fan of Vader knighting Rhett Apprentice.
Also, the preview in the magazine said that the Jedi sheltering young Master Apprentice on Kashyyyk is his father. And his mother was also a Jedi, who died protecting Wookiees against slavers.
I don't know if that's new, but it was new to me.

Hey Fenn, is Battlefront I & II on the same level as TFU?
Canon, I mean? Or can Lucas just blow-off whatever happened in those games since this is the next official chapter? Otherwise we're gonna need like 4 different Death Stars; at various stages of production, during those two decades to cover-up all the flubs?

Yes, Battlefront and The Force Unleashed are equally canon.

Well here is the latest:
A former Jedi, Darth Desolous is for the PS2 version only.
The SA's Jedi-mother died long before Vader showed up, defending Kashyyyk's finest of course.
Vader kills the SA's Jedi father.
The SA is not Kam Solusar.
The SA's parents are completely new to the GFFA, and had been on Kashyyyk prior to the onset of the Clone Wars.
The rebellion happens on its own, as you progress but the two certainly become intertwined...
You can chuck Tie-Fighter's from the very get-go, so IF you choose to, you might be able to yank bigger stuff later on. Or you can elect to make your saber skills second to none.
Juno is the SA's 1st recruit, for whatever it is that he does as another redeemed Jedi.
(Once you start down the dark-path, forever will you have second-thoughts about your decision)

Fully support your action, where can I donate?
But promise you'll use the exact word 'wussify'.

Lucas was also quoted/ paraphrased, saying: "That being really, super strong in the Force is not limited to the Skywalker bloodline." --For whatever that's worth.

Oh no. Another random Sith Lord. Perhaps they could have given him a more interesting backstory, because this is turning out quite repetative.

Random, and probably insane and far from "officially" Sith.
I could grab my FX Lightsaber and declare myself the Sith Lord Darth Wimpicus. That doesn't make it true.

Plus theres no guarantee PS2 bonus levels will be canon. It might be no more canon than a bonus level where you get to kill Palpatine, declare yourself Darth Sapicus and become Emperor.

Darth Sobbing-mess is more like it.
The intro to the graphic Novel is your standard SSD overhead shot.
I'd post pics but I think thats still a no-no.
The SA comes across as a screaming brat, two seconds after leaving Vader's side.
And major spoiler: Kota gets *killed by getting chucked-out of a window to complete your first mission at the TIE construction facility at Nar Shadar. Me personally, I don't buy that Kota's dead... but maybe they are taking the Force-ghost-mentor route.

Wait, SSD? SSD? You're sure it's a Super Star Destroyer?

Canon go boom?
EDIT: Isn't there a certain latitude for artistic license considered on GN's?
Or it could be a flashforward?
Maybe?

Well, there's artistic license, and then there's drawing completely the wrong ship. If there's really an SSD running around, retcons ahoy.

Well, I'm hoping it's just a "looks more like an SSD" type of thing. You can retcon that to being an old Star Drednaught, I suppose. Although if the ship is ID'ed as Executor or something that throws that out the window.
