But yeah, that Star Destroyer in the preview looks just like the Executor. Same design, anyway. What I mean is, if you took that panel out and bunged it in a Rebellion era comic, people would cluck and say "Ah, Executor."
Balls.
It's depressing to realise that my unrestrained negativity in regards to this game isn't being alleviated by any of the information we're getting. Instead, everything I hear makes me dread the game even more.
I bet we're going to get this: "Well, I/we asked Lucas if there were Super Star Destroyers around at the time, and he said yes. So it's in."
Which isn't an excuse. Anyone making a game set in the Expanded Universe should know better than to ask Lucas anything.

Very interesting. Pretty good art, so that's a good thing.
As for the Executor, the canon is already karked up. There have been a few instances already of people having ships that looked just like it before Yavin, and us saying "Oh, it must be a different ship, even though it looks the same." So there's various ways to fit this in.
Pablo Hidalgo's making a webcomic. Hopefully he can clean up the canon somewhat.

Okay. I can honestly say, in relation to these first pages, that this face ( ) is not impressed.
Nothing will make that face impressed, though. That face is determined not to like this.
I'm facepalming because it never once ocurred to me that perhaps one of those Sith names floating about is the SA. I also like the switch from quiet, stoic menace to whining about Juno's additions to his ship. I also like that it appears that Proxy might be the SA's conscience - ironic, being that he's a droid.
Also...the Executor's under construction, so...for now I'm just gonna say, "Everything's fine here. How are you?"

I have seen the initial, and second phase of the concept art for Phobas and Desolous.
Just not the finished products. 
The first promo video had the initial concept art for a double bladed Jedi.
That appears to no longer be the case.
I'll post'em as soon as I can get a
clean grab off the hand held video.
It may take a while.

In the canon ending at least.
I can't say I'd be shocked if in the "dark side ending" he declares himself Darth Tenebrous or one of those other Darth names that hasn't been used yet. I still wonder if the Darth Desolous bonus level is just you fighting your dark side incarnation (mainly because it'd save them the work of designing a new model and could still go "look! bonus level! buy me!").
As for the SSD... I assume its going to be retconned away like all the other SSDs mentioned. Wasn't there some "Super Star Destroyer Prototype" in some online WotC suplement a while back? Obviously if they actually call it the Executor then the retcon is stuffed unless they try something totally contrived like "It was a SSD called the Executor not the ESD Executor". I think I'll just pretend its still "under construction", maybe has its engines working but that inside its still a shell, needs the guns mounted still, I dunno. If they don't call it Executor though I'll just assume its another SSD prototype.

We've almost got that already if you count the SSD-looking thing that showed up in one of the prequel comics once... can't recall which off the top of my head though, just remember seeing an image of it on the Wookiee once and a discussion about whether it was a Mandator.
