Unlikely, since the Secret Apprentice was a pretty young kid when Vader found him (young enough for a regular sized lightaber to look hilariously big in his hands apparently) in 18 BBY, and it would take more than a year for the Apprentice to grow to the age he is in the game.

Good. The pair of them should be off having their adventures by this stage, and shouldn't be in Alderaanian possession.

I really do hope there are more planets than the ones we've seen. I just have this unsatisfying "we've already seen the whole game" feeling when they're listed out like that.

True story. Unfortunately, the game seems short enough - it really seems, story wise, to be about the length of a feature length film - for that to be everything included.

I get a distint 'film length' feeling too.
Its not that it doesn't work for a film or a novel but video games usually need much more complex stories to last the full gameplay experience, else its just a ten second cutscene, followed by an hour of random hack and slash until the next ten second cutscene.
I suppose the Devil May Cry games didn't have massively complicated stories so it is possible for them to pad it out enough and not drag.
Still... after KOTOR I'm spoiled for really long Star Wars stories.

I kinda wish we weren't going to any "really familiar" planets. Felucia I don't mind. We saw that for all of two seconds on film... some of the others, though? Bespin, for example?

Yeah. I'm bummed about Bespin too.
There are some planets I can put up with them constantly reusing. Korriban, for example. I would prefer to see Ziost in a game for once, but Korriban isn't the end of the world.
Bespin though... just... why?
I would say "At least it isn't the Battle of Hoth" but I reserve judgment on that until TFU2.

Korriban has very legitimate story reasons for continuing to show up - as long as we're dealing with Sith and dark siders trying to be Sith, we'll have to deal with Korriban. Tatooine, here, seems like it might have a story reason for appearing, quite unlike its appearances in other games. I'm holding out hope that Bespin does, too. Raxus Prime...I mean...makes sense that someone would hide out there...

I'll just say the choice of planets is good for the people who want to "kick ass with the Force", "enjoy themselves", and "not obsessively pick at the minutiae of a fictional galaxy full of space wizards", but not for the 5% of us that's left over.

And while we're on this topic, it's back to Tatooine for the Clone Wars film? Really?
Where's the originality?
More of this "if we don't stick Tatooine, Bespin, and Hoth in their faces we won't get their attention" mentality that's been a cancer in the EU for, like, forever.
Like the CONSTANT unnecessary references to Tatooine fauna in the books. As if Tatooine and its creatures are on the tip of everyone's tongue ALL THE TIME.

Tatooine in the movies has been given a pretty good plot reason, not to mention it may give us an opportunity to see Anakin confront his life there and the state of the planet.
Hopefully the Hutt in the game will be Rotta. :-D

At least it isn't as Naboo bad as the Naboo time that in Naboo Revelation all we ever Naboo heard was about Naboo things from Naboo Naboo.
I just wish they'd be adventurous more in the games. Honestly, I could understand it more if it was the novels that kept going back to the movie planets, due to the novels not being able to show us what they look like as easily. But the games are a visual medium. They can create new worlds just like that and them become iconic Star Wars planets overnight.
Take Manaan. I loved that place. It was great to see Onderon and Dxun in KOTOR2 too which, while being pre-existing worlds, were great to explore instead of Yavin 4 for the nth time.

Just got an email from Amazon saying that the TFU Graphic Novel's release date is August 22. It's also 50% off if you pre-order it now.

I'm still not clear on how essential this project's various media are for getting the whole story. Is there a legitimate comparison to SotE, where the novel, the video game, and the comic all contained different storylines focusing on different characters, or are TFU's novel and comic basically telling the same exact story from the game?
