Say, that wouldn't happen to be Garm Iblis, would it?

A lot also depends on exactly what Vader says or does during the game. He only 'knights' his apprentice when he is grown up. He may not actually make any comment about taking Starkiller as his apprentice while still a child.
It might just be a relationship that evolves over time when he's training him like all the other Inquisitors and Hands, later realising just how powerful this child is and taking him as his formal apprentice much later on.
In that context, I see no reason why Dark Lord couldn't still work if that is their intention, as it'd just be a case of him having picked up a random Force-sensitive child while down on Kashyyyk, effectively no different than any of the other kids he's had carted off back to Byss during that timeframe.
Except why would Vader have kept Starkiller a secret from the getgo if he wasn't always intended to be his "secret apprentice"?
I don't see why the excellent Dark Lord should have to be messed about with to cater to the TFU story team's desire to transform Kashyyyk into another Hoth, quite frankly... though I won't be surprised if it is.
I'm also not convinced by Matt's argument that Kento being harboured on Kashyyyk makes "the wookiees" stupid, either. As far as I know (and I might be wrong), they don't make decisions as an entire species. All TFU's story need do is make one group/tribe of wookiees stupid.
Besides, there's the possibility that Kento has been on Kashyyyk throughout all the previous attacks. If that's the case, then I can easily buy the Wookiees letting him stay, since they'd probably have figured - given Vader's invasion and departure - that the storm had passed.

Because they have honour? Because the Jedi helped save many lives during the Clone Wars, because Revan helped save them from Czerka in KOTOR?

I guess what I'm saying is A) It should be clear by now that simply taking them in doesn't work and B) the "Empire comes to Kashyyyk to lay the smack down because they're harboring Jedi" thing seems repetitive and makes the Wookiees appear kind of dumb, or at least bad at planning.

The Kashyyyk battle could easily be retconned as a Wookie slave rebellion, or something similar, occuring after Kashyyyk had been made an Imperial Protectorate in Dark Lord. The apprentice's father could simply have gone there in an attempt to aid the Wookies. Still, it does seem that Kashyyyk is on the fast track to becoming a new Hoth.

Except at least Hoth is the same battle over and over and over again. What's happening with Kashyyyk is that we're having different battles that only look the same.

There should be a rule that after multiple-ass whoopings, the Wookiees are off-limits for good. Why can't the Empire go wipe out the Ewoks? They're practically worthless as it is, and I doubt anyone in their right (adults that is) mind would even complain. If an Ewok can be a Jedi; after millenia of getting their fangs kicked-in, certainly the Wookiees must know when to hold em or fold em. For all their creativity in developing TFU, the writers' were extremely short-sighted with the retreaded inclusions of Kashyyyk and Bespin. (And we can throw Tatooine in there as well)
I hear you BobaMatt, the Wookiees look uber-dumb, but I still can't blame them for it.
Their loyalty is drenched in honor, but it's the writers' heads that are soaking in toilet water.

They find any excuse to throw it in.
I kinda wish TFU began with Vader on the Yuzzem homeworld... I like yuzzem.

Taste like chicken?
Why not somewhere new but pre-existing like Coyn, Af'El, heck, even Togoria?

Hey now, the plot of Jedi Academy was basically "VISIT IMPORTANT STAR WARS PLACES" so I wasn't really upset.

Remember the mission in Jedi Academy where you had to go to Arrakis/Dune?
No wait, I mean, when you had to go to Blenjeel...
Probably the hardest mission IMO.
