That bashed up Vader fig looks cool as eye candy, but I take the same issue I did with Purge...wasnt there a little line in ROTJ that says Vader would die without his mask on? Didnt Dark Lord cover the mechanics of Vader and set up that the suit breathes for him?
Oh well...looks rad though!!!

Sheesh... the German Game-Site gamefront.de just posted big news about the game... they say it's from the Game Informer (issue 167, maybe someone who has it can scan the article), but sadly, I can't find the original article... I'll translate the most outstanding things: (no guarantees for anything in there... it's always possible the German site interpreted things wrong)
- The Game comes to PS3 and Xbox360 with a release date of November 2007 (USA)
- The story is set between III and IV and is about Vader's attempts to bring down the Emperor, using an apprentice (you, the player) to fulfill his plans. The reasons for Vader are that he realizes Palps betrayal of dragging him to the Dark Side, but he also realizes that it's too late to change it, so he wants to do everything he can in the underground.
- The player starts as a trained Sith, who masters various Force powers (e.g. Force Speed, Force Push, Force Lightning, etc...). It is said that in the progress of the game, you will achieve greater power and grow even stronger than Vader and the Emperor, eventually.
- The player is hunting Jedi who survived Order 66. In one duel he will fight against Shaak Ti, who is in control of numerous Rancors [remember that concept art]. He can beat her by tearing the Rancors apart from inside out.
- There will be a linear end, and maybe an alternate one, too.
- Vader might be playable
- The Force powers are portrayed like never before. When someone is Force Pushed, e.g, it will look like he's hit by a canon shot.
- The game uses Euphoria and DMM (see Indy 2007 Game), meaning it will be extremely realistic.
- There will probably comics and novels set around the game. (like SotE)
Well, that's pretty much all important stuff from the German article... I hope someone with their hands on the Game Informer could scan or post a transcript of the article.
It's a frickin' pity this ain't comin' to PC. -.- Looks like I'll have to get a PS3, after all.

Is the player character also a direct descendent of Revan? 
I'm willing to hold off judgement... but something about Vader having an[other] apprentice doesn't sit too well with me.
 Hey, maybe this is why Vader's Legacy is being put off!

It would have been a lot cooler (and made more sense) if you just played as a Jedi on the run from the Empire.

Nah, I like that you start out dark here.
It sounds pretty good. I'm sure it'll come out for the PC eventually...
Plus I say we wait for LA's official Press Release to see what platforms it'll come out for...

Good Lord, this is going to be stupid...
I'm way more worried about the story... the only reason to get this game would be the engine (Euphoria and all) and the gameplay. Also, I think that such early informations about a game are often exaggerated.
Oh, and they say it looks like a mix of Ninja Gaiden, God of War, Matrix, 300 and well, obivously, Star Wars. (although it wouldn't have been surprising if they forgot to mention "Star Wars"...  )

Easy retcon. He's a Sith so he thinks he's all that and stronger than Vader and Palps.
I would not be surprised if he is killed at the end.
