laugh I can't help but laugh myself silly when people refer to Microsoft as M$ in a degrading manner, seeing as Bill Gates is probably the greatest philanthropist of our time. Yet the uninformed assume because he is so rich his companies are pure evil. rolling_eyes

Regardless of his personal philanthropy, his company is one of the most cutthroat beasts out there. There's a reason it keeps finding itself in court, and it's not because of "the uninformed."

How is using a "$" in an abbreviation equivalent to thinking the company is pure evil?

Talk about making snap judgments. "Hello, kettle? It's Jango_Fettish. You're black." plain

I am well aware of M$'s (or more correctly Gates's individual) philanthropic efforts. I refer to Microsoft as M$ because, first, "MS", the alternative abbreviation, is the abbreviation for Multiple Sclerosis. And second, with the amount of money raked in by the company on a daily basis, it is appropriate.

Take the unnecessary (and blatantly off-topic) negativity elsewhere.

End communication. Everyone Loves Hypno-Toad!

Other than the dueling aspect of The Force Unleashed for the Wii, which in my opinion is a FANTASTIC use of the Wii system if done properly, what might be other variations for the game depending on the platform? I know that they've differed in games before, like in Battlefront II there were additional maps on the pc version. Might there be a different/ bonus quest for the xbox to balance out the Wii version.

What makes him a hero and not an anti-hero, Chuck?

Well Fett is an anti-hero, I concede he's been consistently used this way since he started appearing in his own series. So is Guts from Berserk, the Punisher, Wolverine (when he's not a straight hero), Marv from Sin City, and The Man with No Name. Fundamentally, an easy definition for an anti-hero is that he uses socially and morally unacceptable measures to deal with even worse problems.

The redemption arc of Force Unleashed seems to indicate we're supposed to view Secret Apprentice as a man whose a villain that's the protagionist (Like Darth Bane) until the end when he becomes a genuine hero.

Redemption = sad

I really want a game where you can play as a canon evil character. Is that so much to ask? cry

The game should still be good, but this disappoints me.

Is it planned for PC? Or is LucasArts just catering to the console-fanboys?

No, it will not be available for the PC. But then again, up until yesterday it was said that the game would not be for the Wii. So I would say there is a chance for the PC. Especially since the KOTOR games were later ported to PC, after being called XBox exclusives.

Yeah, I'd sincerley hope so. I mean, what is it with the consoles these days? Their hard ware was practically out of date they hit the shelves. The PC is much more versatile, than an XBOX 360 or even a PS3.

It probably tells a lot about my childhood to say that I automatically, with no thought or hesitation, read "M$" aloud as "Em String." For which reason it's always felt plenty appropriate to me.

Oh, look, Juno is now dressed appropriately in a good clean uniform. And she's described as being "proper."

Good. The skanky appearance of the initial concept art disturbed me. I'm fine with nearly-naked Jedi like Maris or the usual Twi'leks since they are debauched and must be destroyed, but no loyal daughter of the Core and Imperial officer ought to dress in such a fashion.

Yeah, everyone knows it's EA that's pure evil. Them and McDonald's.

Being rich doesn't make a company evil, being evil is what makes them evil.

Speaking of Redemption, I hope there is a way to not be redeemed... and to servat imperiam super omnes alteras.

Yes, but it won't be canon.

It'll be the Emperor Katarn ending I'm sure.
