Arawn_Fenn posted:Ulicus posted: Whatever way you look at it, Anakin destroyed the Sith and brought balance to the Force. In what way did Anakin Skywalker destroy the Sith in Empire's End? Was this some kind of NEC retcon? If you accept EE and the prophecy, then Empatojayos Brand was the Chosen One. Or was it Han Solo?

Ulicus posted:All I'm saying is that even if you think that's crazy and that balance just means "No Sith, period", Vader DID fulfill the prophecy. By the time Brand/Solo killed Palps, Lumiya was probably well trained enough to call herself a Sith (and be right) and thus no prophecy is fulfilled at all.
Darth_Sabith posted:I always looked at it in the since that Balance meaning causing the Light and Darkside to be even. Thus Vader brought Balance when it was just Vader and Palps for sith. Yoda and Obi-wan then yes Vader brought Balance and when he died the balance was kept because of Luymia

Ulicus posted:This is the Buffy comparison I mentioned earlier: The Master kills Buffy via drowning. Her heart stops and she's clinically dead. "The Master has killed the Slayer". Prophecy fulfilled. Xander administers CPR. Buffy is revived. Buffy kills the Master. This does not change the fact the the "Master kills the Slayer" prophecy was fulfilled.

Rogue_Follower posted:New stuff! Some previews for the TFU miniatures set were released, and this is what we got: "The Uggernaut", Junk Golem, and Wookiee-Hunter AT-ST. All three are presumably from the game; they look like bosses or mini-bosses to me. I think I love The Uggernaut, if only for the silly name.
