The only ones that start with K are Krayt and Kruhl (and likely Karnage). Still placing my bet on A'sharad Hett. Or possibly a descendant, but that would require a separate explanation for "should have ended the Skywalker line when I had the chance".

That is my latest guess as well. I wouldn't put it past Randy and John to sneak something like that in, considering that Crimson Empire III was cancelled but was supposed to have a fight between he and Luke. And it might finally solve that whole mess about Emperor's Guards and Force Sensitivity. Yeah, it would be nice to finally get it confirmed. Everything points towards Kanos and the other guards being FS, and yet it's still not canonized.

I thought that the Imperial Guards' Force-sensitivity was confirmed back in the Dark Empire Sourcebook or something like that.

With the storyline just getting off the ground, and the readers just getting to know the characters, would it be wise just to throw in the ultimate mystery(so far) in the story, so early? Well, not really, because by the time the "unmasking" happens, the series will already have been going for over a year. And besides that, it's entirely likely that Darth Krayt's "unmasking" will only leave us with more questions than answers. Once we all know who he is, the obvious next question will be, "How the heck did -that- happen?!?"
