	We are going through the Darth series, will get a book on the death star (all dak side). What about Yoda? Heck, he is 900 years old - the stories could be amazing, iow, he could be a series all unto himself. Beyond that, his side of the fall of the jedi would be interesting, to say the least. He is a being so committed to the Jedi order, almost for a millennia, and he is the steward when the whole thing comes crumbling down. Imagine what his thoughts must be. I thought Dark Rendezvous was a good book and that is what spurred this post. In summary, we are getting a good bridge to the past from the dark side, why not from the jedi side? Edit: weak attempt to curb book binding humor.

	I thought there couldnt be a book about him...or was that about his race? Didn't I read that somewhere??? Anyway, I think it would do really well. 	A century spanning book would be awesome. More like a Yoda trilogy that bounces back and forth through Yoda's life. It could be two fold it could be how the order changed in the last 900 years and how Yoda grew. Could see how Yoda would interact with the various Jedi of the various ages and than finnaly up to how his viewpoint destroyed everything.

	My ideal Yoda book would be like Star Wars Tom Jones in the style of those 18th and 19th century books that follow a character through his entire life. 800-1000+ pages, please. A life that spans centuries needs a little higher word count than the average SW book. This would be a great way to flesh out the 1000 years leading up to ANH. We could see a little bit of Bane's Sith Order, too. I imagine infant Yoda was left on the Temple steps in a basket. Nobody knows where he came from or what exactly he is. Imagine his surprise when he outlives all of his peers. Yoda probably had a hard time watching his pupils grow up, grow old and die all around him. We'd see Yoda's master and all his apprentices (Dooku and Mace!) It'd be hard to carry a narrative for so many years. Obviously a lot would have to be skimmed over. And there would have to be many, many antagonists. (The Sith are out as direct antagonists b/c they are believed to be extinct at the time of TPM. But they can always cause trouble behind the scenes.) I can dream. -----signature----- Who is John Galt?

	I'd say an epic, episodic style could work, though it would be hard to pull off and maybe wouldn't sell as well to the fanboys, as it would take Stover-class writing to pull off. 	I am not so sure they could possible work one very well. At this point, we are more or less believing that Russan to PT was a time of peace and prosperity for the Republic. With the beginnings of Yoda's life, his species, and his origin being off limits, the only thing really left is watching him cope with his size deficiencies in his early training, his going on relatively unimportant missions as a Jedi Knight, his rise to being a Master, and finally his wisdom and patience getting him stuck with the Younglings.
