Best novel, for me is certainly Traitor. It was very very well written and posed some interesting philosophical questions. Maybe Vergere was full of crap. Maybe she was a Sith...but some of her questions made me think. I felt it gave a lot of insight into the Vong and their preoccupation with pain, religion, etc. Yeah, it was dark, but it was hopeful too. I played KoToR II before reading Traitor and I do enjoy Vergere/Kreia type philosophical musing on the force. As Churchill said of the Soviet Union under Stalin.....Vergere and Kreia are Riddles, wrapped inside of mysteries, wrapped inside of engimas.
Worst novel for me was RC: Triple Zero. It appears to be a love hate thing for me, but it was the only Star Wars novel I started to read and never finished. Although, I have to give credit where credit was due. It cured my insomnia. Ten minutes into the book every time I tried...it was lights out. I don't want to sound like the typical Traviss/Mando basher as I did enjoy Hard Contact for some reason. After rereading Bloodlines recently, i think it may be my favorite of the LoTF books thus far. It was written very well. Yes, even the Fett parts. For whatever reason though, Trip Zero failed to capture my interest at all.
