My main questions have to do with WHY Jacen killed Mara and what are Luke and Bens reactions. Basically do they know Jacen did it and how do they know and what do they do?

It's fairly short and brutal. There's no forgiveness and no mercy in Luke. He goes straight in for the kill and it's a great scene.

The final scene and statement are great, one of my favourite all time deaths.

Lumiya starts to fall off a crumbling ledge and Luke grabs her hand;

"I'd never let you fall"

and kudos to Jacen. and to think some people doubted that his fancy Force tricks would come in handy in a fight... Force phantoms, emotional manipulation, and poisoning your aunt when she's not looking... looks like our little Sith's all grown up

The way that the death happens... That poison dart could well make them think that it was Alema who killed her, not Jacen. So Jacen would be safe for some time...
