I love Alex Winger and think she's a 1000x better than Tenel Ka. However, I doubt we'll ever see a book about her. And it's a shame about both Alex and Tenel Ka... although I think Tenel Ka's a thousand times better than Alex. Anderson's writing. I like the JAT and YJK-no, I love the YJK. It is better than what people think it is. And back on topic... I wanted Luke to die 2 weeks after he and Mara celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary, his life complete surrounded by family and friends. 	^^I'm overwhelmed by the sarcasim on this thread now. Incidentlly though I've been spending all weekend reading the last Harry Potter book and its "FREAKIN AWESOME" so I haven't had any time to post lately. But heres an idea for you. What if Luke decides at the end of this that he's not cut out to just being confined to either the Jedi temple or the government and leaves someone else in charge while he goes out on his own force odessy. That way authors of the next contract can do an individual book with Luke hooking up with some knew characters from beyond the known galaxy and have adventures for those of us who still like him, and the new Jedi can have the known parts all to themselves to protect and have books about just them. It would be like in Robin Hood and how when King Richard went on his crusade and while he was gone things went down the toilet and it was up to Robin and his merry men to defend it and keep the peace. Luke would be like the King and Ben or Jaina can be like Robin and the Jedi the merry men(as merry as a Jedi can be of course). Luke doesn't die but still gets out of the way for a new set of heroes to come into their own. In fact, we might see this in LOTF seeing as how Jacen/Cadeus has taken on a Prince John type persona. Thats fair isn't it?

	I'd perfer Luke not die yet. So far we don't have an enemy worthy or powerful enough to kill him. But if he does die. I'd rather have Luke die in a blaze of glory. Fighting an army of millions alone while throwing Star Destroyers. That's how you have the Son of Son of Suns die. If he dies of old age we will probably have this Luke to deal with. 	^^Y'know, sometimes I wish they would make a book where we see how Mon Mothma died just to show that thats not how old people act in the Star Wars universe.

Mon Mothma wasn't old though, at least by "60 is the new 40, people live to 120" standard... she was only ~70. Han in LOTF is right at 70 years old, and Pellaeon is like 90 something by LOTF. according to the Luke should die of old age advocates, Luke should live to 130-200 years of age... by which point he could be acting like that. -----signature----- Qui-Gon, Jango, Dooku, Mace, Padme, Obi-Wan, Bail, Obi-Wan, Biggs, Palpatine, Anakin... lots of people died in the movies... 	StaryKnight I wasn't being serious. Luke most likely won't act that bad, but age will have some effect. And with the Force Luke will probably get an extra 20-30 years more than most people. I don't know what they have medical wise for old age, but the human body would begin to deteriorate at one point. If Luke get's to that age I don't think he'll be fighting that much. Having Luke die of something he can't fight or have any hope of beating just doesn't seem the right ending for such a hero. He lived a hero and should die as he lived.
