Fugitive Padawan Zayne Carrick left Taris vowing to catch his murderous Masters before they caught him. Now, he's returned--only to find the planet under siege by Mandalorian invaders. And there's someone else waiting for him--who's about to turn the tables on all his plans!

Nearly alone in a war zone, Zayne is surrounded by enemies. Some want him brought to justice. Others want the bounty on his head. And the Mandalorians just want the whole planet! And when even friends become enemies, he finds himself at the mercy of someone who has no mercy--one of his former Masters!

Building toward the culmination of the yearlong "Days/Knights" sequence, the long-awaited return to Taris also includes several familiar faces from the Knights of the Old Republic video games!

Cover wise, it looks like they've finally just given up trying to hide the fact that Jarael is hot tongue

Plot wise it looks like the theories about Zayne meeting up with Raana Tey and killing her may end up correct.

As for faces from the KOTOR games, if they're fighting with the gangs, I wouldn't be surprised to see Gadon Thek show up. He's already been mentioned. Could also be Juhani. Shouldn't she be on Taris by now? Or is it too early for that?

She could be there, but I think it makes more sense to assume that she'd already left... or at least already been busted out of slavery.

She was rescued from slavery by the Jedi as they were "going off to fight the Mandalorians", Jedi who "talked about their leader all the time". Given what we saw in Issue 0, with Squint singing the praises of his "master" and the Jedi going off to "fight" the Mandalorians (albeit before the Mandalorian Wars proper) she could quite easily have been referring to that time.

That said, I certainly wouldn't be surprised if we saw Revanchist Jedi rescuing her from slavery in this issue.

Still, it's definitely not too early for her to be on Taris. She was raised there, and left around the outbreak of the Mandalorian Wars.

I think the whole point of KotOR II was that Kreia realised she was in a work of fiction

Oh, God, I love KotOR.

Sorry.

But it's the best thing that ever happened to SW. Except Palpatine, of course.

Still ,... KotOR rocks!!!

That's got to be the worst rendition of Rohlan (or Rohmagol, if that isn't revealed by this issue) I've ever seen.

Art aside, this looks to be incredible.

Are we sure that's a cover? It really almost more like an interior panel. Of course it could be the cover, but it doesn't seem as likely.

I really need to pick this back up and catch up... *sigh*

Well, it's in the same style as the cover art for #22, and there's a big blank space up top for a logo, so methinks this is it.

That's . . . the starboard cockpit of the Moomo Williwaw.

I love the design of that ship -- it's awesome that we'll be seeing it again.

How cute, Demagol's still pretending to be Rohlan. tongue

"Several familiar faces", eh? Not going to try to guess on that one yet; could be one of the many Tarisians we know of, could be something else.

That is one heck of a preview. So, Cassus apparently has a son. I wonder who that is... thinking
The mexican-standoff between the two gangs was pretty neat, as well.

Page one of the preview, the Ebon Hawk is in the hologram Cassus is watching!

Edit: Funny, Zayne once again is going to have to work with one of the covenant... Although I don't think they will remain allies long.

Zayne really does "get by with a little help from his friends" haha.

Ooh... I liked Gadon from the KOTOR game, and I'm beginning to like him even more now.
