Makes sense, considering this is what regular GA troopers look like.
The GAG armor, then, is just basically the standard armor painted black.

Huh, I'd never actually seen the "GA Trooper" before. Interesting.
Anyways, I think the basic idea was "riot police" with a SW twist, which those riot geared police pretty much fit the bill.

That Galactic Alliane trooper armor looks vaguely like the "blue armored guys" on the cover of Legacy #10. I like the overall armor, though I do wish that the helmets were mroe akin to the old Rebel troopers. Overall, I like them, however.

I'm actually glad they're not, if you're referring to the these guys. The overuse of that helmet-style's one of my biggest peeves, since they're specifically Alderaanian marines, not just generic "rebel troopers."

How that became the default Rebel uniform, I don't know. If nothing else, the rebel uniform, if they had one, would seem to be a less winterized version of the uniform the Hoth troops wear, considering that scene is where we see the first large collection of true Rebel troops.

That Sia figure is the most ridiculously sexist thing I've seen in a long time. She is shown in Legacy in Imperial Knight armor and a brown cloak over pants not a pink frilly dress. Oh. My. Gosh.

That's still not a pink dress. And yes it is. If she's supposed to be seen as a valid Imperial Knight, yes. Its like she's playing pretend Imperial Knight and we're supposed to see her as a fragile pretty pretty princess.
