Awesome, Dustin. Looks like we're dealing with a tunnel through the snow there -- unlike anything we've seen of Taris before. New and unique locations instead of monoscape worlds? I approve.

Excellent cover Dustin, and good job on the colouring it looks great. The steam rising from the Rakghouls head makes it even more menacing and i like the added touch of seeing Zayne's breath steaming in front of him - enhances the fact they seem to be in an icy tunnel. Interesting actually... didn't think Taris had any locations like that, but I guess we'll see areas of Taris we never saw in the game this time around. Nice attention to detail, hope to see much more of your work!

Placing bets on the rakghouls being an evil scientists experiment or an example of ancient Sith alchemy now. tongue

Edit: Love the realistic pic of Zayne on your livejournal, would be great to see more covers done with that style to juxtapose with the slightly cartoony style of the interior (which works well with KotOR).

The asteroid I had targeted was smaller than most, maybe a dozen meters on a side. On the outside, it looked the same as any other: just a ball covered in frozen gas. But something must have been inside it... something inactive in the cold. The heat of my blast might have triggered something or woken something up. After I had hit, spots of light and heat appeared all over the thin shell covering it, evaporating the gases.

What lay underneath looked like some sort of rocky growth... a deformed rock pitted by scores of micrometeorite scars. I think something even older might have been inside that.

We know the Vong were present in the galaxy some time during the Mandalorian Wars.
We know the Vong enjoy making all sorts of crazy mutant-like things.

So... my money is on the Vong planting the Rakghoul thing, whether by accident or design.

Pardon me. We know a ship that is described as pretty much identical to a Yuuzhan Vong ship was present in the galaxy during the Wars.

Do you think Darkhorse will collect all of Vector in a TPB? I'd much rather buy a trade than individual issues from multiple series.

Probably two six issue TPBs. It would only make sense.

They've done it before with the Clone Wars TPBs lumping Jedi and Republic.

It's more likely the Vector issues will be TPBed with the surrounding issues from their own series, not in two separate cross-era Vector TPBs. DH has been stressing how they're part of the ongoing storyline of the ongoing series; I can't see them ripping four issues out of Legacy and four issues out of KOTOR into separate TPBs. It's just not compliant with the accessibility they're stressing for this event. It could happen, but I'd be surprised.

You'll probably only have to look at how Marvel handles Civil War TPBs.
Which is one TPB per series.

I think the best way to play it all around would actually be four TPBs, two of the regular four issue length, two short ones that just collect two issues. This way, the Vector issues are separate so you don't have to get extraneous portions of the main series in order to get Vector in its entirety, but likewise, the series-specific Vector TPBs can slot in among the other TPBs of the series if that's the way you're buying them, so you don't have to get extraneous parts of Vector in order to keep going with the series, and you can continue to display them chronologically on your shelf. Plus, Dark Horse gets to sell more TPBs; even if the two-issue TPBs sell for less, I think they could still come out ahead on the proposal. Sounds good all around.
