I think a Luke-style "back in black" look might suit Cade a little better...that or something in-between that look and Anakin Skywalker's not-quite-traditional Jedi Robes look.

I just can't see Cade going all hot-to-trot "Jedi" though. Maybe another variation of the "armored Jedi" look? Cade loses some of his charm if he drifts too far into "traditional" territory...at least if he does it this early in the story, IMHO.

Oh, I didn't say traditional Jedi robes. But I would bet on robes. I agree with you on the look, though - something like that might be darn cool.

It could just be a jacket-less version as well. The comic pack figure has a non-removable trench coat by the looks of the pictures.

The original rumor says Cade will "be in an outfit we haven't seen yet" or something to that effect.

I read that as a "jackass version". Which, to be fair, would be pretty much any version of Cade we've seen.

True. I read it as meaning an outfit we haven't seen in toy form.

Can I get an overview of Vector? A summary of where it has happened thus far, how its going to cross over from KOTOR to Dark Times to Rebellion to Legacy, who the character is that will span all of these comics, etc.

Thanks.

As no one who has actually read the issues appears willing, I will give this short summary based on the threads here and other forums plus Wookieepedia. So, this might be very misleading.

Mandalorians have found an old Sith talisman on occupied Taris. The Jedi Covenant is aware of it, wants it too and they have sent their agent, Celeste Morne, to capture it. On Taris Celeste Morne runs into Zayne Carrick, Gryph and a bunch of Rakghouls.

Later it was revealed that the Rakghouls are created by the Sith talisman, which name is the Muur talisman after the Sith Lord Karness Muur who created it. It transforms non -Force sensitives in to Rakghouls, who can then be controlled by the user of the talisman. Karness Muur appears to have been a Sith Lord of the Old Sith Empire.

Zayne, Gryph and Celeste hide on the ship that takes the Mandalorians who found the talisman to a Mandalorian held iceworld named Jebble. During the trip the leader of the Mandalorians, Pulsipher, dabbles with the talisman, which suddenly connects itself to him. A mandalorian who comes to help Pulsipher gets zapped, looking like he dies, but he is later revealed to have been transformed into a Rakghoul.

The hideaways are found, but are able to pass of as new "recruits". On the iceworld they find out that the Mandalorians will attack Alderaan. Celeste is able to contact Lucien Draay, who tells her to capture the talisman and take it to one of the Covenant's secret storages, and also to kill Zayne.

Zayne, Gryph and Celeste are able to sneak in to the Mandalorians' command center, where they find out that the Mandalorians are transforming into Rakhghouls. Instead of an army of Mandalorians, Alderaan will be attacked by an army of Rakghouls. A fight ensues.

In the future... At some point Celeste will get the talisman, and it will connect itself to her. In the Dark Times arc Darth Vader will find her, in some sort of capsule, still alive after over 3900 years. In the second Dark Times issue they will apparently fight each other.

During Rebellion arc, Vader has failed in his attempts to be able to use the talisman to help himself directly, but will try to use it against the Rebels. Celeste is apparently still around, in some form.

It's likely that some kind of malevolent spirit is tied to the talisman, possibly that of it's creator, Karness Muur, who is said to have disappeared after creating it. Apparently the talisman is able to control the person who carries it, at least to some extent. Karness Muur might also be tied to Jarael, as in probable pictures of him he has the same kind of ears as she has.

No. Those will hit late this year. There will be two issues from each of Dark Times and Rebellion after the KotOR part finishes. The Legacy part of Vector is supposed to be issues 28-31, if I recall correctly. happy

I finished reading #3. The Muur Talisman definitely moves around like those crustacean things that come out of the Alien's egg. Celeste's journey with the Muur Talisman seems to be very similar to Ripley's ordeal with the Aliens. I was watching the end of Alien 3 last night, and I'm left wondering if Celeste's going to do something similar to what Ripley did: kill herself in a way that will completely destroy her body, and make certain the Muur Talisman doesn't escape at the last minute.
