I remember her story as being an imperial pilot from Alderaan that was angry after it was destroyed and defected to the Rebel Alliance and joined Rogue Squadron as an X-Wing pilot and helped them defeat her old commanding officer Moff Kol Seerdon, she even flew in battle against the Reborn Emperors forces at Mon Calamari and helped them destroy the Wold Devestators there but vanished from sight after that, did Kasan Moor die or did she appear later on in other books or video games? to much of a good pilot to retire early.

From her picture we can see she was a soccer mom. Naturally, she's driving her kids to soccer every weekend, and has no time to fly anymore (SFD Injoke)

SFD hilarity aside, it is possible she slipped into obscurity and went into fleet command like a lot of other pilots we've seen.

or maybe she did retire and settled down in some shape or form... (meaning: maybe started a family or opened a small restaraunt/garage/business of some variety... or both)

The game was awesome except for the lack of outer space battles, they could easily do another game set during the Yuuzhan Vong invasion or Correllian insurrection and give you the option to play from both sides, that would be totally awesome, as opposed to games like BattleFront 2 that only have brief space battles when you meet enemy fleets in orbit and very little fighter selection.

Dark Forces/Jedi Knight series? Does it count seeing as the graphic novels came out after the game? Its an important part of post RotJ EU now really.
OT: Yeah I loved this game, played it to death on the N64 then got the sequels for the Gamecube (they never quite had its charm though). I'd agree with the other posts, she probably saw out her active service and settled down, that said anything could have happened since then, maybe she got Vonged.

The original Rogue Squadron gets special props for introducing brand-new canon like Kasan Moor and not going over the same old tired battles like its sequels.
Also for not ignoring past canon. (We already have a story behind the Tydirium, thanks for playing!)
You know, for a planet supposedly known for pacificism, there seems to be an odd number of Alderaanians in the Imperial military...

I always figured that she died at Hoth. The Battle of Calamari in Rogue Squadron is a bit problematic regarding the presence (and lack thereof) of certain characters. Since Kasan flies at Hoth an (apparently) at Calamari, but isn't mentioned anywhere in between, it seems logical to include her in the list of minor mistakes. Call her KIA during Hoth, since we're already over the limit on supposed Rogue survivors of the battle (but that's another thread altogether).

If the game shows her at Calamari, there's no reason to assume that she died. She could have just as easily been transferred out of Rogue Squadron at some point.

Naw, they've probably got fewer than most other core-class worlds. It's just that we mostly get to hear about the Imperials who defect to the Rebellion, and who's got a better reason than the Alderaanians?

RE: What happened to Kasan Moor from the N64 Star Wars:Rogue Squadron game?

As a writer and designer on the original Rogue Squadron, I helped to come up with the Imperial defector known as Kasan Moor. She was one of the Empire's best pilots, from the 128th TIE Interceptor Squadron. (Modelled after Baron Fel's 121st.)
Because we invented her for the game, she fell into the abyss of non-use that so many game characters find themselves in. (Picture the La Brea Tar Pits, only instead of being filled with sabertooth tigers and woolly mammoths, you've got little-known video game secondary characters and sidekicks. 'Tis a sad place. "Leebo! What are you doing here??!")
So what ever happened to her?
We know that she survived to the Battle of Calamari, but I don't believe she remained an active member of Rogue Squadron that entire time. Moor's head was filled with valuable Imperial intelligence, and the Alliance and New Republic needed that knowledge. It's my belief that Moor retired from Rogue Squadron before the Battle of Hoth, and became an advisor to Mon Mothma, General Madine and Admiral Ackbar.
Her appearance at the Battle of Mon Calamari was unofficial and done purely as a favor to Wedge Antilles, whom she respected and admired. Thus, no official sources record her participation.
