That's altogether too light-hearted a cover for a book which I suspect will be along the lines of "Protocols of the Elders of Ossus".

Is anyone worried that 'Order 66' will be overtly saturated with Karen Traviss' clear disdain for the Jedi?
In all of her books she has made no attempt to hide the fact of how she abhors the Jedi's treatment of her precious Mandolorians in the Clone Wars. I'm worried that she will take this attitude in 'Order 66' somehow justifying or excusing the clones actions or spinning the event so that its impact is lessened.
Personally, I love the Jedi, and while they may have flaws, I think what they do, what they aim to do, the standards they set for themselves is noble. And I'm worried of having someone with such a clear and pronounced contempt for the Jedi Order be responsible for writing about such a tragic event that played a major role in the ultimate destruction of the Jedi Order.

I've not seen any anti-Jedi sentiments. Would you be so kind as to post some proof for me?

My utilisation of complex locution to ask what's more pathetic, fans who worship their movie actors, or the actors who couldn't give a damn, is more a reflection of my own superincumbent mental actuity than any circumscribed lexicon. Don't you agree?

Same here. If this weren't the cover to the final book in the RC series, and just a piece of fanart instead, I'd love it.
But it is the cover, so...yeah.

I think the first cover was better, imo.

OK... I think we might *enjoy* it for different reasons... move along, move along...

Of course not. She will surprise us by delivering the most pro-Jedi anti-clone novel the world has seen. It will feature Troy McClure as Skirata singing "You finally made a Jedi out of me" in the great musical finale.
If I were a fan of the Jedi, I'd rather be alarmed by the idea of a novel that features Skywalker And Kenobi as the main characters next to a supporting cast of clones, but that won't happen so soon, right?

Heh. I clicked on this page, then worked my way back. From all the comments, I thought this was just going to godawful. Then I see the actual cover, and whatever. It's kind of silly, but doesn't bother me any more than the silly Staring Helmet did. We've had a lot worse.

There is a "Lando's not a system, he's a man!" joke in there somewhere, I just don't know where.
But that is just ironic and cruel
