And where are these legendary cities? I've never seen such a culture obsessed with fairy tales. Thought sodom was a good idea, so lets say atlantis drowned. laugh

They've found Jericho and Ancient Troy amongst others.

As a general rule, scientists tend to have serious egg on their face when they state "A bunch of myth!"

The irony of Atlantis is that it probably IS Ancient Minoa, no one wants to admit it though since the original source was a Myth interpreted by Plato. :-)

Scientists can't wrap their minds around the fact the Olmecs had museums. I think the idea of a mythological city that might have been historical being talked about by Plato breaks their minds.

No they haven't. The places they've found are neither the Biblical Jericho nor the Troy of the Illiad, merely settlements that may have existed around the same time as the mythological counterparts.

Notably, biblical "Jericho" had no walls, and not sacked nor pillaged, and "Troy" was a small village, not a grand city-state.

The City of Bone...is within Keldabe!?

A city within a city. How perverse!

Unless they've got a Vatican thing going on...

Jericho had walls. They got trumpteted down.

Aliens of the Emp looks like a good idea. It's fun seeing all these little articles. They're quite informative.

There are recent controversial new excavations that perhaps have revealed that Troy was bigger town during the Mycenean era than previous excavations showed. Of course, this still doesn't make the real historical town the same as the Troy of Iliad. At best, Iliad has faint echoes of real historical events.

The Confeds were mostly aliens. The Empirial sentiment drew from that start.

We also learned that Major Rahz's full name is "Stafuv Rahz". Come on, people... say that name aloud. It might have a familiar ring to it.
